I am very pleased to announce that Jason and I (me-48, him-32) have moved to the next plateau in our relationship.

After 2 1/2 year of dating bliss, we began discussions about the future and what it should hold for us. We both agreed that it was time to be under one roof and would eventually like to get a larger home. For the time being (and as a matter of convenience), he is going to move in with me and look into renting/selling his place. When we move on to something bigger, we both agree that it should be (and will only be) as husband & wife :). We would like to hold onto our homes, but will have to see what the market bears and what we can afford. He's going to move his clothes and office here and, depending on what happens with his place will dictate when the rest of his stuff/my stuff gets shifted (or put into storage).

I have been divorced for 10 years and have a grown son; he has never been married and has no children. We purposefully moved slow & steady in our relationship to ensure it was not infatuation, need or lust -- turns out it was true love! :p We have discussed and resolved the 'kids' issue (there will be none) and he is in full acceptance of that. I get along great w/his family and mine love him.

We had been spending 95% our of time together maintaining two homes and decided that financially and emotionally it just made more sense to move ahead.... :D He is my best friend, my lover and now my partner! I couldn't be happier!
