What are you waiting to play?

Any good betas out there? Anyone playing something so super fun that they want to drag others out to try it?

I know I make this thread all the time, but other gamers are the best sources for fun stuff!

Also... who here reads penny-arcade and who's going to PAX in August?

I've received 2 closed beta invites from 2 different aeria games, but they both look a lil too sexified to try out.

/edited to add: NVM, they are through the same folks who did LC and since I played that they must have sent me these. I might try em. One is out of Korea and one out of Japan... might be fun. /shrug

Waiting for Warhammer, tbh - still stuck on WoW till then even though I hate the new expansion idea with another increase in lvl cap :(

My b/f is also waiting for Conan to come out but I am a bit on the fence regarding that one ;)

Nothing else atm, not too much time to play so just sticking to the minimung that avoids me getting guildkicked :p

We are waiting for Pirates of the Burning Sea to come out, but since it will be a pay to play and we can only afford ONE of those, I don't mind if it continues to take a long time to show up. :)

We are still having too much fun in LOTRO. Now we've joined in the monster play pvp aspect of it, so we are far from exhausting all the different things there are to do there.

Played Pirates of the Burning Seas and I'm sorry to report that I absolutely hated it. I wouldn't want to have paid for that!

All I am waiting for is the dang Silent hill for xbox 360 to come out...MUST PLAY..*drools* Love that series!!

I mentioned in another thread I have got to try Silent Hill! I loved the movie. I'm doing it all backwards.

...no good Betas right now. Believe me we've been looking. The only open Beta that I am aware of is for a game called DOMO, which is Aeria Games as well. But I wasn't interested.

But, I'm not waiting for Warhammer Online, since I don't like roleplaying games, and I hate playing online (bad experiences playing Age of Empires a few years back). But, I'm waiting eagerly for Warhammer 40,000: Soulstorm, the latest expansion to Dawn of War, a RTS game^^

Most I'll play is a bit of Risk, but our guild had a bunch of Warhammer players.

D&D dice game. Pokemon. Magic. Those games I know or played, but Warhammer...well I always got pwned in RTS games so I just stopped playing them. (I was a sore loser :D)

The drums are the the most realistic to play. I absolutely suck at them, but one of the guys I work with who pwns them says that you just sorta flail around and suddenly one day it clicks, and wham.

I loveloveLOVE playing guitar...and find that when I listen to songs now I automatically listen to bass licks.

I gotta reserve for PS2 as well, Angel. I want it sooo bad for xmas. Then I can get good on expert and knock the socks off the guys at work :bgrin2:

Warhammer

If you like to PvP, Warhammer is where you should go when it goes live. If you play WoW and *think* you are PvPing... you will really need to try Warhammer and then you will realize what PvP is all about.

I came from Dark Age of Camelot to WoW and while a friend kept telling me how wonderful the PvP was... I signed up... only to find the PvP is really *arranged* battles in instances and the unfullfilling ganking while leveling. I left DAOC because of over expansion but now wonder if I should reactivate.

I still do chuckle when people talk of PvP in WoW.

When I get a better pc (thinking about buying a laptop some time), I will so get Company of Heroes. Yes, I know it's like a year (at least) since it came out, but I've only just discovered it, and I love playing it at my friend's place ^_^ Oh well. I have to save up money for both laptop and vacation :bgrin2:

Got to play drums on Rock Band a few weeks ago with my guy's friends. I sucked but I had a ball. The singing I can really nail! I have a few new games going. I started No More Heros on the Wii. Its only flaw is that the lack of good music; the setting, clothing and landscape look so punk but the music is monotonous and there is so much they could have done with this. Also a small bug is that all the vintage t-shirts you can collect are in mirror image. What's with that? Tonight we have a Valentine's Day date to play CSI: Hard Evidence long distance simultaneously over speaker phone. We'll make a great team of investigators!!
