I hope she comes back too. It's one of the reasons I did. I heard she was leaving, and felt like people who support relationships like hers need all the help they can get.

Maybe it was just time to move on, I have felt that way also, the husband is back safe and home..... ageless was a ground to express my fears, I have none now, the age gap is a not an issue, we are in love and in marriage and secure.

Can I ask if a person is banned for repeated offenses only, or can you be banned for one REALLY bad infraction? Just wondering....

Stop! I have NO information other than what I read on the boards!!! I swear!

Miu was Miu. She never responded to requests on the boards from members to stop and I doubt that she responded to requests from moderators.

Marcy was unhappy with the comments about VYM and the lack of moderation - or maybe what she felt was the lack of support from moderators for members in relationships with VYM. She also wanted the Discussion Section eliminated, but I don't think that had anything to do with her leaving, but I do think that what occured in the Discussion Section was the last straw for her - ironic.

Maybe Miu can come back someday - others have been allowed back after multiple bannings, like that Irish guy; and some have been given a second chance; and maybe Marcy will come back someday, as have others who left in anger or disappointment or frustration.

That's all I know.

I think the thing that drove me nuts was how frequent we would here over and over how the brain is or how people look down the noses of those who are with or who have dated under 25...the 18 to 20 thing REALLY got to me.

Seeing the word pedophile and so on when I and some have already heard that in our day to day life. When we are already struggling with put downs who wants to come to a site and have to fight that to..when its suppose to be there for support.

That word seems to piss a lot of people off, seriously. I know when I first started and posted my introduction I wrote how his age had bothered me greatly and that I was glad that he was atleast 20 because any younger and I would of felt like a pedo...and BOY people came after me for that. I remember sitting here thinking, well hell, Im not calling anyone else that name but MYSELF...sheesh but apparently there were ladies who were in current relationships with vym younger than 20 who took exception of my own perception of myself and that word. lol Honestly I still dont understand it, I know what boundaries I have that make me view myself in a bad light, how I view myself shouldnt affect others because everyones boundaries are different.

Glad to hear that. You know, he can get a T-Mobile cell phone for $30 bucks (with minutes) and just add $25.00 every three months to keep all the minutes OR just add minutes when he needs them. Cell phones often work when the landlines are down.

Glad to hear that. You know, he can get a T-Mobile cell phone for $30 bucks (with minutes) and just add $25.00 every three months to keep all the minutes OR just add minutes when he needs them. Cell phones often work when the landlines are down.

I don't know that it blows over any faster for the secrecy, or is it that maybe the banned person might be able to come back one day?

Well, I don't know how we could tell you why someone was banned without going into all the details.

If we were to begin posting why someone was issued a warning or was banned, that'd sort of be like wearing a big sign on them advertising that they were in trouble.

We just prefer to keep any discussion we have with the members here about their rules violations confidential. No sense embarrassing someone or shaming them in front of the community, even if they end up getting themselves banned.
