Yup..and once you do...brace yourself. We are due for 6 to 12 inches of snow tonight on top of the ice, so I would imagine your in for some more crappy weather too.

I hate to say it but believe it or not, it COULD be worse - I just talked to my dad and they're supposed to get 16 inches of snow over night. He's not amused, lol.

16 inches of snow is NOT amusing. It's so cold tonight, I hate it.

Thankfully it hasn't snowed again since that first one but it's getting progressively colder - it was up in the 20's today, now it's down to 8...and it's only going to get colder. Florida is looking mighty fine right about now!!! (Heck, anyplace with heat looks good right about now!!!)

Here in Kansas we still have something like 20,000 people without electricity... :eek::eek: And it's COLD. And now we are getting the snow on top of it.

This is one of those times I am happy I moved to town, and Im not still out in the boonies where you are one of the last people to get your electricity restored. In 2005 about this same time of year, we were all stuck in one room with a wood stove and some oil lamps, praying for the lights to come back on :prayer: cuz we didn't have any power for 7 days!!!

OK, is any of this crud hitting Wisconsin?? :eek: We were supposed to get an ice storm on Monday, but instead got a huge dump of snow (hence my snow day thread). It's still difficult getting in and out the alley - it would SUCK to get more!! :mad:
