Coming Back Home...

Posted something on the OW/YM section, about what's going on with ageless...and 90% of the post, I couldn't relate to. I'm not trying to ignite that OW/YM vs. OM/YW flame, but the direction of the thread has gone way off tangent, and after about page 2, I just totally felt lost. The reason why I posted it up on the OW side was because miu was one of the posters that had given me great advice, and I was just sadenned to find out she was banned.

Anyway, it's interesting reading about OW/YM stuff, and the insights that the posters from there provide, some insights you can apply to any kind of relationship, whether it be OW/YM or OM/YW...but I feel more at home on this side of the board, regardless of how sparse the posts are....so, I'm glad to be back!

sbux.....

we need you here. Our little community has a different feel than the other side. We have our own chit chat now. The reason I and a few others lobbied so hard, against the tide, for our own chit chat forum, is so we could develop our own sense of community over here, a community that will feel more comfortable for the current members of the YW/OM side.

In the YW forums you are amongst the people who have already taken an interest in your well being, who were with you through your relationship earlier this year, who have already shown they care about you.

So please, post away. Help us develop that sense of community. Let's get to know one another better. One nice aspect of our chit chat forum, your posts won't march off the bottom of the first page too quickly, like they do on the other side.

luv ya, George

Didn't know you had left:tongue2::bgrin2:

Good to know you feel at home amongst us OM and YW. I haven't posted much lately as I'm mentally drained. I turned in my research paper last Friday and I'm yet to recover. Also, my baby will be away for the holidays, so I'm spending some quality time with him before he leaves.

Nah, I didn't really "move." Just felt the need to post something in that section, since Miu was in the OW/YM category. But I'm definitely here to stay! I may not be in a relationship, but, I love being here in the OM/YW section.

Goodchild, I was about to post a "Where's Goodchild" thread, because I had not seen you here in a while! Hope you make the most out of your time with your OM!

scott...you should consider being a MOD! I shall nominate you! George: you must be extremely busy! Glad that you still find time to offer some sage advice here.

Ok...that's all for now!

I'm sorry your thread took on a life of its own (that's what I call it when that happens, lol). We put them together and send them out into the world and we have to let go of them because they will go where others will take them. ;)

It's nice to see you still posting here. I admit that I find myself hanging out over here as well often times because it is more laid back.

Hope you don't mind me crashing here with you guys. :)

Me too! I've self-appointed as sort of a 1/2 younger woman. I suppose I identify with the women over here, because like most of you, I've never been married, never had kids... so I'm not your typical OW!

Guess Who!
