goodness.... how can I can I compete?

hmm...I look at all the fellows(and sadly, that is about all who have posted...where are the women?) who have posted on this site and I wonder to myself.... how can I compete with all of those guys who post an ad.... and get not one response?? I admit, it is a difficult obstacle to overcome(it is quite the competition to compete with... umm.... no competition...), and yet when I post an ad what makes me think that I will be any different then the rest of them? I suppose that is where I need to prove myself. So what do you all want to know? What do I need to prove myself?:)

I have been told that I am cute(although I am no brad pitt, I admit it)... that I have a pretty good bod(although I am not He Man...grrrr)... in other words I think I am a-ok... but that would be for you to decide. That said....what am i looking for? I will be honest and tell you that I am not sure. I would love to meet someone who is cool...cute...and fun who wants to hang out and see what happens. I cannot promise that I am looking for the love of my life or anything like that but it might be nice, if nothing else, to meet A love of my life or just someone really cool who would be willing to hang out with a twenty something fellow like myself:)

I feel sure that if u join in discussions an maybe post a pic or 2 in the members Photo Album u will quickly get to know ppl and find yourself some cool ppl to hang out with, we r all pretty cool ppl here :D

I'll second what Shewolf has said -- a personal ad alone stands isolated, but the members will get to know you through posts.

A lot of the no-response ads on here are from guys who have never posted -- and, I suspect, haven't even read any!
