Ideas for communicating

I really suggest packages and letters. If you haven't sent him anything before or at least frequently, this is likely to burst into a nice way of communicating your emotions.

This post reminded me of my postcard calendar.

I bought a calendar with detachable postcards for each month. At the end of each month I send a postcard to my boyfriend and turn the page.

It's a great incentive to continue to write to each other. He doesn't write to me as often, but at least a few times a year and I've kept ever letter, card, postcard that he's ever sent.

We've done lists like this before about how we communicate with our long distance partners, but what I'd like to know is what kinds of routine reminders do you use to keep yourself actively communicating?
