Hi Everone,
To all of you who replied to my post yesteday--"Help More OW Woes"--I just wanted to say thank you for your support and kinds words of encouragement. Of course, I hope that you're alll right about this new ow Susan, but who knows. The one thing I do know is that I'm going to have to really back off on this--at least for the next several days--and not call her because she was really acting strange, curt and evaisive when I called her this yesterday even though we had been having a wonderful time all week. And like I said in my post on the board yesterday, I think that I was coming on a bit strong, trying to hold her hand, rubbing her shoulders at the bar even though she didn't seem to mind it at the time, plus I had a little too much to drink during our last date Thursday night. Then, yesterday afternoon (Friday) I ran into her sort as I was on my way home and spotted her in the window of this coffee bar near where we both live. Things were fine, but when I mentioned something to her about coming over to my place Sunday night to watch the Oscars again as I had earlier in the week she was like, "I can't I've got too much work to do" so I'm kind of stymied here. Anyway, my plan, like I said, is to lay low for the next few days--hard as it is--and then try to get together with her and also try to clear the air again, making no romantic overtures to her at all for the moment. Keep your fingers crossed because I really like her and at the very least want us to be good friends if nothing romantic ever does. Still, I'm sick and tired of age always being the issue. Any more thoughts on how to turn this around would be helpful.
Thanks,
Tripp
