Spoiled LIttle BRAT!grumpysgirl 03-04-2008, 09:19 PM http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=27841 If this was my kid she would have no car after this dmjoy 03-04-2008, 09:40 PM OMG  I don't even know what to say. Can that even be true? A girl that selfish and spoiled? I find it unbelievable that she has friends that would attend a birthday party for her....... Kristin 03-04-2008, 10:45 PM My guess is she watches that Sweet 16 show and the car always gets presented on the party day in front of all the guests to flaunt it and mom ruined the effect. These Sweet 16 things are planned for so long and are so elaborate and designed for one-uppmanship (not my world, but hey) and if this is this girl's once big event and mom is a clueless wonder - I can see how mom blew it with a huge faux pas. Besides, what kid thinks a Lexus is cool? Isn't that an old dude's car? Now, this is not taken in context of the rest of the real world where kids like my son can't even get his drivers license because I can't afford his insurance!! But in her world, this is a different story. The rich are not like you and me. coloradogrrrl 03-04-2008, 11:25 PM This is a little girl, who cares more about showing off to her friends than anything. Her reaction shows a mental issue, and a mother who is totally enabling her. Ridiculous. Both of them should go to a shrink. coloradogrrrl 03-04-2008, 11:34 PM What mother in her right mind would buy a Lexus for a 15 year old, even if she can afford to do so? I think the mother and daugher are caught up in a very unhealthy relationship. Disgusting display of greed, in my opinion. grumpysgirl 03-05-2008, 01:04 AM You all have the same view I do...I personally would make her work for A car..not that car but one she can AFFORD...she was such a lil snot and mom OMG ..no words there Greeneyedlily 03-05-2008, 02:32 AM I'm 22 and I have had 3 cars... all of which I bought on my own (2 junkers, and my current one that was used that I make payments on). I have worked since I was 15, so people like these people are everything I hate about this country. And the fact that these children are ungrateful, don't work for squat, show no empathy and are devoid of souls in my opinion. They're robots for coroporate american commericalism and the parents are the only ones to blame, even rich people can instill morality and values into their children. jon'sgirl 03-05-2008, 02:42 AM I think we have to keep in mind that this is an "un"reality show, which are so full of hype & usually scripted, that this whole ep is probably just acted out. Those so-called "music" channels, will do ANYthing to get a reaction out of their young audience, including having people fart, puke & even injure themselves on camera & they call this entertainment. It really gets worse every year from what I've seen. What's next? Snuff tv? Televised torture sessions anyone?:mad: Jo-Admin 03-05-2008, 11:40 AM O M G! First off, that girl was only turning 15...instead of 16, because she said so at the beginning of the video. Obviously, she isn't mature enough to even have a car....I would make damned sure that girl didn't have a party or a car. I would be completely flabbergasted if one of my children said "I ______ hate you" out in public like that..or at all. I didn't make my kids work for their first cars, I buy the first one, but they certainly are not a Lexus, and they were totally THRILLED to get them. My daughter still to this day tells me how much she LOVEs her car (and it's a 1994 Saturn). I would have bawled the day I got my daughter her car if she would have responded like that, Im sure. Misery 03-05-2008, 12:02 PM ;) Personally i think the mother should have parked the car ON the daughter as opposed to the parking garage. But i quess thats just me :D Strwbrries 03-05-2008, 12:47 PM That poor poor thing. She's spoiled all right but mom is also clueless and why is a 15 year old getting a car??? I can also see what Kristin means, if that little girl was waiting to reveal the car for the big finale at the party then yeah mom blew her little fantasy scenario. Everything for Teens is very dramatic and earth shattering when it comes to things they set their heart on and have built up in their heads. As for cars all my kids understand that they are not getting a car until after they graduate high school but it sure isnt going to be a Lexus. lol If that had been my kid? I would have dropped her butt off at home and had the party without her. Miyoshi 03-05-2008, 08:55 PM That child should have been eaten at birth and the mother slapped around a bit. sheila4pd 03-05-2008, 09:17 PM I have seen a very similar video some months ago. In this case the girl was pissed because she did not want a red car. It was an Audi or some other European car if I recall. I think that this was all scripted. cuteguy37048 03-05-2008, 09:56 PM My guess is she watches that Sweet 16 show and the car always gets presented on the party day in front of all the guests to flaunt it and mom ruined the effect. The rich are not like you and me. No way my daughter would get a Lexus unless it's like 8 years old :) I'm not shellin that kind of cash. :) I got a cool truck when I got my license. I fixed it up a lil more. It's totalled now. Last thing I ever wanted, I loved that truck. It was about 10 years old when I got it. I always liked a two door black Mercedes hardtop. But the car below is my favorite. What mother in her right mind would buy a Lexus for a 15 year old, even if she can afford to do so? I think the mother and daugher are caught up in a very unhealthy relationship. Disgusting display of greed, in my opinion. I agree. The more money you have the more obvious what kind of person you really are. Many millionaires have said that. Had I been in that situation I think I would actually like to throw a party for a charity AND myself. "You gotta give to get." - Russell Simmons "What are you willing to step away from? The bigger the price tag on the sacrifice the bigger the reward." - Me manofmisteree 03-06-2008, 12:59 AM I will admit...because of my myspace name...i thought this thread was in reference to me.:D Rob 03-06-2008, 12:25 PM My first car was a Vauxhall Nova, which was about 10-15 years old. My mum had it for years and gave it to me, then went and got a new car. Within a year of owning it I had to pay for the bodywork to be done. About 6 months later I went and got a better car on finance, with my own money from working! I gave the Nova to my sister as a birthday present. It finally died maybe a year later, and my mum bought herself a brand new car (again  ) and gave her car to my sister. I was slightly annoyed by this because my sister got a far, FAR better car for free than I did. In fact, mine cost me money. My sister is still driving that car, 6 years later (?). But that spoilt little brat is taking the biscuit completely, in comparison. Kristin 03-06-2008, 04:36 PM My fist car was a '67 Impala. It was 1986 and I was 19 and I got it for $100 from a cook at the restaurant I work at. My bf kept it running for me - thankfully. I probably won't be buying my kids a car. A car is a privledge, not a necessity. Can't get to the mall? Take the GD bus. cuteguy37048 03-06-2008, 09:49 PM My fist car was a '67 Impala.
