Anyone else a bit confused with the recent changes at AL. For me it's mostly with notifications for friends requests, and messages left on my page. I always get them confused as private messages in my inbox. I didn't realize I had my own personal page profile page for people to leave messages. Though I will admit that it's cool there's a section to see who's viewed your profile.

but I am not toooooo sure about theses chchchanges... I made one flippen mistake by not paying attention and thought I was pm'ing and found out that it was posted on her profile!!!! And, I really feel uncomfortable knowing who looked at my profile as well as people knowing I looked at theirs (which I do at times to see when she/he was last online). Hence maybe that is why I am always "invisible" here??? To be honest, I am not going to do the friend thingy nor change anything here. If I wanted to do any of that type of thing, I'd go to myspace (and even then I hate that kind of stuff!!!) and that ilk. Sorry... like I said call me the Ageless Party Pooper or One Who Hates Change!

Well, the nice thing about it is, it is strictly optional. You don't have to use the new features if you don't want to.
I like it because it gives me my own personal space on the forum where I can modify the page to make it look like anything I want. The tech admin knows I'm not too keen on the current ageless colors, so it's nice to have a page where I can modify the look anytime I want.
It's just something different to do for those who enjoy it.
By the way, here's a link to the FAQ on the profile features.

I kinda like it. It has it's technical uses and It's easy to use and personalize once you take the time and break down each feature in a hands on kind of way.

I don't usually like change, and I am embarrassed to admit that the first visitor message I left was meant to be private. Once I saw it displayed I deleted it.
All in all though, I have enjoyed playing with my profile. I am somewhat challenged technologically but it's been fun. I've been visiting lots of profiles just to check out the variety.

I admit, I'm also not one that's very big on "change"....at first. Then I get used to things. So my first reaction to the changes here is "uh oh!" but there is also a part of me that thinks it's all pretty cool.

I don't like the new changes either....but then, I haven't had that much time to be around so whether or not I like them probably doesn't matter all that much in the grand scheme of things!!!
