Great Site!

:p Hi all! This is such a great site! I was so happy to find it. I have been hanging back purusing the threads and I finally had to put my two cents in. (dear god I'm 2 cents poorer!)
I am in an LDR with a very soon to be (9 days!) 50yo man, I am 37. We have been together about 10 months. :D Our relationship has certainly had it's share of challenges. I have been married once before, very young, divorced now for 10 years. He has never been married. To say he has compensated for a lack of relationship/family by throwing himself into his work would be an understatement. Workoholic doesn't even BEGIN to describe this man. :eek: LOL. This is probably the biggest issue we have. And we are trying to work on it. I have a feeling I may find some interesting viewpoints and ideas around here and I'm looking forward to talking to others in similar relationships.

I do want to add to the above (don't want to sound like a grouch, LOL) My OM is the GREATEST thing that has ever happened to me!!!!! He is everything I could ever ask for (well ya know, except for the workoholic thing, hee hee). He is a gentleman, he is funny, he is intelligent, he is loyal, he is a wonderful lover.....

I had several previous relationships with men closer to my age and it just seemed like they were still searching for their little boy dreams. (well, I guess to some extent aren't they all?) So I guess in my case I found my dream guy in an OM. :yes:

There's a lot of truth in "boys will be boys":p
