Odd Even 05-21-2008, 08:29 AM Looking through some old posts, I discovered that Harrison is no longer a member of Ageless. He was labelled as "guest" in those old posts, written when he was still a member.
So, why is he no longer a member? Did he leave by his own choice or was he expelled? Anyone who knows what happened and why?
I like Harrison, because he is a "proud leftist" like myself.
Inahnia 05-21-2008, 09:17 AM The last I heard, Harrison took a break from here for whatever reason. I think I remember he had his account deleted, also, but I'm not sure why. He is definitely missed and I hope if he reads this he knows we all would like him to come back. :)
JennyJen 05-21-2008, 09:50 AM I miss him so much...he would always send me the best PM's to cheer me up when I was down and he would always make me laugh and we'd just joke around. I know that some people didn't care for him for what ever reason and sometimes he'd push buttons but he'd just joke and joke with me and I miss that...I wish I had some way to keep in contact with him but he just disappeared one night...I hope someday he comes back or anyone who is in contact with him, tell him Lil JJ misses him! :tongue2:
Strwbrries 05-21-2008, 09:56 AM Yup, put me down in the we miss Harrison group. He and I didnt always see eye to eye but he always did put up a good logical argument and he brought up some interesting topics. lol even if they raised my eyebrows from time to time.

I miss him! :(
grumpysgirl 05-21-2008, 12:47 PM me to!! I miss his talks:( was a goof friend to me
special K 05-21-2008, 01:06 PM Not only do I miss Harrison and his thought-provoking posts, but I also miss posts/feedback from other intelligent, articulate, wonderful/valuable members like Barb (she's still around, just not posting much:(...c'mon Barb, we NEED your wise insight again), bubbleee, Kat7, Polly, and others. It doesn't matter that I don't always agree with someone's take on an issue or post, what matters to me is that the member is foundationally kind and genuinely wants to convey their opinion for others to consider...without attacking or slandering in a drama-provoking manner. Agree to disagree is the higher calling around here.
I know that due to some drama here a while back, I needed to take a break because I was taking everything too personally:o. I think that's what happens to some members who disappear also, they take a break and then come back eventually...and with others, ageless just isn't meeting a need/want any more for whatever reason, so they move on permanently. Doesn't mean we don't miss them:no::popworm:
JennyJen 05-21-2008, 02:11 PM Oh I miss Kat7 and Polly...Kat7 was the bomb...LOL
I remember that last summer I left for about a month when my dad was getting really sick and someone here was making me miserable, later she was all buddy with me until she got banned.
I keep waiting for the day that some of my old peeps just pop up again...I miss them!
Belisama 05-21-2008, 02:52 PM I miss Chatterbox :(

lynn59 05-21-2008, 10:03 PM I didn't know Harrison for very long but I thought he was great.
He was fun and supportive and he could also back up anything he said with facts.
sheila4pd 05-21-2008, 10:19 PM I miss him too.
Okay, so it's a lazy Friday morning and I'm off work and I'm sitting here drinking coffee while my house is being pressure washed. That's about as exciting as my life gets!!! (Okay, not really.)
So I decide to log on to Ageless for the heck of it (which I do once in a blue moon) and read. Lo and behold, my name is mentioned! Woo Hoo!!!
Hi All....to set the record straight, I did not get banned JennyJen. Geesh!! (Edit: I just re-read your post; maybe you weren't talking about me!! LOL)
Thanks for thinking of me though! Yeah, I'll take that! And TD and SpecialK, you're swell to remember me. I do think fondly of folks at Ageless.
I have heard from Harrison a couple of times since we've left here, and he's alive and well and participating in other forums.
As for me, as I mentioned when I left, I just don't feel the need to participate any more, but if a young man comes along who floats my boat, I'd probably come back and check in...the only YM I've been "involved" with lately is David Cook!! (Speed dial voting baby!)
In case any of you are wondering, I never heard from P again.
It's nice to be able to put a significant relationship like that in perspective now, recognizing the deep connection, but understanding that it was just not meant to be for the long haul, but as a springboard for each of us to go on to other things. I think it's important to note that he could not be doing what he is doing (his desired future) if he had stayed with me...and I would not be in a place of peace and emotional & financial health had I stayed with him.
As for me, I am doing well...traveling, hanging out with Nina (the pictured dog) working like crazy, and just generally enjoying life. Remember the wacky neighbor? I ditched my friendship with her. Remember the doctor who was flirting with me? He still is! We're great friends.
All in all, life is good. Onward and upward. Miss you guys, but the few times I have logged in here, I don't feel there is much for me to say or much engaging for me to participate in. I don't recognize very many people...
Hope all of you who do remember me are well. Love, Kat
Inahnia 05-23-2008, 09:36 AM Heya Kat!!! Good to hear you are doing well! Stop by anytime, and check in. I believe that the best times in life are the ones when there is "not much going on"! The older I get, the more i realize that "boring" = good! :)
tinydancer 05-23-2008, 10:14 AM Hi Kat.....thank you for the update!
Am very happy to know that you are doing well and life is being good to you!
Love, TD
Donna 05-23-2008, 11:22 AM It was nice to read the hello message from Kat. With her dog. And I thought someone in the last week or so used the name Harrison on some message in this forum.
Makes me sad, to think so many nice people just had someplace else to be for now.
Well, there still are alot of nice people here, and new ones always coming that need support.
Bye for now.
Donna
Misery 05-23-2008, 01:17 PM I miss Harrison , he always made me laugh :(
Strwbrries 05-23-2008, 01:59 PM It was nice seeing Kat lol I recognized her once I saw the dog avatar...now we need chatter. come out come out wherever you are....
JennyJen 05-23-2008, 07:19 PM ....to set the record straight, I did not get banned JennyJen. Geesh!! (Edit: I just re-read your post; maybe you weren't talking about me!! LOL)

Nope...I didn't mean you...LOL  :bgrin2:
Lovaholic 09-01-2008, 05:35 PM He was mean to me so I am indifferent.
greenpetunia 09-01-2008, 06:55 PM I like Harrison, because he is a "proud leftist" like myself.
Well, I think Harrison was definitely before my entrance to Ageless. Too bad, I never read him... I like the proud-leftist types, they remind me so much of the previous generation in my family, always supporting the armed struggle in Latin America under the "Viva la Revolución" slogan.
OE, if there's any consolation, I also bear the sentiments of a proud leftist, but most women tend to wash down their political beliefs in the name of family I'm afraid, and I'm not an exception; especially now that I live in a social democracy like yours, where all the basics are taken care of. Not much to complain about I suppose.
Maybe we should start a thread to discuss the future of the political left and the hegemony of capitalism now that the cold war has ended... just kidding... well, sort of.
freespirit 09-02-2008, 02:09 AM LOL he was mean to me too Lova but I was just mean back....we had some wild debates on the old discussion/debate forum.....those were the days when you could just let rip. No-one was thin skinned then.

Ditto here. I miss Harrison, I loved to argue with him.
LADave 09-03-2008, 12:56 AM Sexually Speaking's been pretty slow since his departure. I miss his threads.
