What Is Sexy

Sexy is sometimes hard to describe. So here is the deal. I'm gonna spout off some stuff and then you ladies jump in.

I'm going at this from an inner sexyness. So you don't need to put up pictures of people like Colin Farrell or whoever. We all know the ladies of the world have no problem callin them sexy that's why they are in Hollywood or wherever and have that attention.



Sexy is caring.

Sexy is giving.

Sexy is considerate.

Sexy is compassionate.

Sexy is the ability to confide in that person of your attraction.

Sexy is a hug when your world is a wreck.

To me , sexiness is Rich , and it is for a lot of the reasons you posted above. the great thing is he understands and feels the same way about me.

Call me shallow...but the things you listed fall under "sweet" for me. Which of course is very important and a wonderful attribute. But, 5 out of those 6 things you listed I can get from anyone that cares about me, my mom, a friend, etc. And although I love them, none of them are "sexy" to me.

However, sexy is...for me...much more along the lines of passionate gestures, an actual physical action, or confidence in ones prowess so to speak. Nothing is sexier to me than a confident man that knows exactly what he wants and how to get it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't think it's shallow, just different preferences, priorities, definitions, etc.

Aside from certain physical characteristics, things I think are sexy include intelligence, wit (well timed sarcasm is a plus), talent/drive, skepticism, mechanical ability, outdoorsiness, love of animals (exceptions including PETA and Greenpeace members), and libertarian political/philosophical views. So, really a mix of things that's pretty particular to me, and kind of hard to find all together.

Yes, a confident man is always sexy, no doubt about it. For me intelligence is very high on my own sexy scale. A smart guy is very seductive -- they are, from my own experience, witty, self-confident, fun in bed, and you can talk to them for hours. You can engage in all kinds of debates, discussions and they seem to enjoy mental bonding as much as physical bonding. That stuff can be very deep and very satisfying. But that's just me.

A little secret: Information Technology guys have always been my favorites. They are some of the most fascinating men I've ever been involved with, particularly guys who write software. Watching them type that code is a huge turn on!!!!!!! My YM is an IT guy and yeah, he writes lots of code. I knew I was going to wind up with one of these gorgeous geeks. Bring on the .NET and C++ any day, any time.

sexy to me, is how a person carries himself or herself. Back straight, eyes bright and a big smile. Ultimate confidence, yeah ! They can command a room no matter their looks. Also intelligence, that is sooooo very sexy. If a man is not exceptionally intelligent, I am not turned on.

A great smile and bright white teeth is very sexy to me. You can be an ogre and have a great smile and confidence and you will look sexy and beautiful to everyone you meet.

What a great question. Many women will respond, but a few things will be common for ALL of them. A great way for a YM, or any man to find out what quality women really need or want.

Very seductive.....speaking purely "sexy".....all the rest, to me, describes love!

I agree with this, but would add the "look" its just a glint in his eye that tells me....hey I think we could be great together....and then a very sensual smile...that says it all....melts my heart oh and other parts as well....the eyes are the key for me.....followed by the mouth....

A sense of humor ... a little different to me than having a great wit (which I also consider sexy)...but a guy that can laugh at himself, and make me laugh so hard I'm in tears often, has a quality that draws me in big time. I'm talking a comedic sense of humor, which is not canned or forced...not just a "joke teller" but a naturally really FUNNY guy with amazing timing and flare for self deprecation:bgrin2:.

I think goofballs just make us feel comfortable with ourselves and relaxed...and HAPPY, and thus endeared to them.

intelligent but without being a know it all
Take charge without being bossy
Funny without being annoying

Sexiness is a man who can change the oil in the car, gets all sweaty from fixing things and isnt self conscious about the sweat and the dirt.
Sexiness is a man fresh out of the shower, wet and dewy and sweet smelling of aftershave.
Sexiness is a man who patiently teaches a child to tie their shoes.
Sexiness is a man who has a passion for an interest ( hobbies, etc)
Sexiness is a man who rubs my feet when my feet hurt

Sexiness is that raised eyebrow that Clint gets when he finds something odd and the curls that graze the vulnerable curve of his neck when his head is bent when he plays guitar. That sexy half smile that never actually turns into a full smile when he finds something amusing and the way he raises both eyebrows when he asks me "what?" with that suspicious look on his face when I start to giggle at something goofy that he has done but doesnt realize that its goofy until I start to laugh.
