Awww, thanks everybody!! We had a really great day yesterday - the skies actually cleared up and gave us a sunshiney day for the wedding! I'll post some pics as soon as we get them back!

We had a small cake covered with roses - we didn't have any professional shots done of it, just some candids. As soon as I get them uploaded I'll post one!

We didn't do a reception - we had the small wedding and will be having a larger party with friends and family at a later date. Following the wedding we went to a local eatery owned by a friend and that's where the little cake came in!

Would you believe it wasn't where it was supposed to be?? We'd originally reserved the sunken gardens at a place called McKennan Park way back in January. On Memorial Day we discovered the place was under construcation and under a ton of dirt and mud! We called the city and asked if they planned to put us (and the rest of the other brides and grooms they'd obviously displaced) some place different. Thankfully they'd already started getting calls - nobody had known back in January and Feb that the city planned on totally killing the sunken gardens so a lot of people had booked that location. Where we ended up was a place called Tuthill Park - it's just gorgeous. It sits up on a hill, has flower gardens and a gazebo, a reception house with a deck, several trellises and lots of great locations for pictures!! I'd expected they'd just put us at one of the smaller locations given we were a teeny weeny wedding and was totally shocked when they gave us Tuthill - which is normally a pricey place to rent. But they said because we were getting married on a Thursday and NOBODY seems to get married there on Thursdays, we could have complete run of the place for as long as we needed it. It was a VERY cool venue and I'd recommend it to anybody!! (You and Kai want to take a road trip from Idaho to get married?? ;) )
