....til I am meeting my man at the airport in my city/country!! This will be the first time he comes to visit me and it's sooo exciting. We are both getting really excited and looking forward to this time together though it's only going to be for 18 sleeps!!! (I count things like this....the number of sleeps til....:)). I'm feeling good about him meeting family and friends, way more relaxed than before. Though I find myself, once again.this happens each time we are about to see each other again...wondering what it will be like to be together again after some time has passed since the last time. Our lives each continue and we continue to grow and change and even though we stay in contact, there's always this 'adjusting' that happens when we are first together again. Do any of you know of what I speak? Is this something you have experienced? It's not that it's awkward or uncomfortable, it's just an adjustment of sorts.

How long have you been together?
Just over 2 1/2 years, we met in person i.e, not an online encounter ...and have gotten together 5 times since then with each time being for a longer period...the last one was 3 months, though I did some travelling on my own for about 2 weeks of that.

thanks sweetie....I wish the same for you when your kai arrives.
As for how it goes, I"m anticipating it will be mostly a whole lot of good feelings and love with a sprinkle of adjustment and a good dose of "so what's next for 'us'" It's what we do each time we are together, we both check in with how we feel about continuing as a couple and in what way...though the last time we started to talk about not keeping it long distance--i.e, me move there or him move here. This sorting it through each time has sometimes been difficult as we each have struggled or processed being in such a relationship (age gap as well as different cultures, language....) though we've always felt very clear about the immense love we feel for each other, regardless of the continuance of the relationship. That's what feels so special about this, it's like there's this bond of love that doesn't even require us being together or being in a relationship to exist. Though we both, at least right now, want to 'be' together. Love wants to be with love...that's what makes being in an LDR so hard. hehe guess what? my sweetie just signed onto msn as I wrote this...how psychic is that??!!!
