I am so glad I have found this website. I am a 25 yr. old full time mom dating a succesful 39 year old full time dad. We have been together for almost 2 and 1/2 years. I am very happy and VERY much in love. He completes me in everyway. But I am just so sick of people giving me the whole gold digger comment!! I met my bf on the interent over yahoo personals, and didn't even know what he really did for a living until like a week or so after we had started dating. It just wasn't all that important to me. We really don't know any other "odd" couples out there like us, so I am glad to know that this site is avaible.

You two look very happy in your pictures, and that's all that really matters.
It takes no more energy to build someone up, support them and care for them than it does to tear them down and disregard them. Knowing that, why would anybody choose to tear people down? People who make comments like "gold digger" are being cruel; they are taking their own emotional flaws out on other people, and they are not self-aware enough to realize it. Those harmful comments do not come from people with considerate hearts or open minds; so consider the source and don't let them bother you.
The truth is, love is ageless, like the banner at the top of the page reads.

Excellent post by Geo55! I love coming here to read all of the heartwarming stories and to watch love triumph as people discover that age, like many other things in life, is no barrier.
People will say what they will and think what they'll think, but in the end it is we, who find happiness in the love we discover, who win. The gossips, hecklers and those who disparage people will get no lasting satisfaction from their behavior. They will continue to experience the misery that led them to behave the way the do to begin with.

Ignore the gold digger comments because anyone saying that is jealous of your circumstances! There is nothing wrong with finding love with someone who happens to be able to provide you a comfortable lifestyle.
The next time someone says that tell them "I'm so lucky! I'm going to be spoiled by the love of my life! Yay for me!" :tongue2: That'll really tick 'em off!
Every woman deserves to be well-taken care of and every man deserves the ability to feel that he can provide that for a woman.

I agree with everyone here. I have been called gold digger many times and I think it's absolutely immature. There nothing wrong with finding and falling in love with a man who can provide for you, even if he is much older. Life has a funny way of sending angels in your life and your partner happens to be one of them!
Those jealous gossipers can go to hell!

Yes it is. This is one of the best support forums for age-gapped couples I've ever seen on the net. It's one of the older ones too, having been around for quite awhile.
