Back in November I posted the below qoute as part of a query to courageous YMs... I apologise for the delay in posting more, but I had difficulties with my id/password; hence my new screen name. I have been reading and trying to keep up with you all, tho'. To that end I have a joyful announcement:

as of three weeks ago the above YM (almost 25 yo) and I (44) are together officially and openly as a couple and could not be happier!!! :D
Surprisingly, the whole age issue has yet to be mentioned by anyone at all! And there were at least a couple of folks I was sure would have to add some kind of commentary, have remained silent (so far) and all we've heard is congratulations and best wishes. Even our parents seem to be taking everything in stride... only concerned that we take things slowly (which we are) as one wishes their child would in any relationship, regardless of age.
Just wanted to post this for now... and hopefully I will be back with details (who, how, where, what , etc..)before another 8 months go by.
