We look "right" together

Late last night my guy and I chatted on the phone as usual. He had just returned from his mom's house where he had been visiting for most of the day with all of his sisters, one of whom had flown in from another state. He wanted to know if my ears were burning because he said there was a lot of talking about me. (The out of state sister is sort of the family busy body. Hope none of them read this.)

I've only met his oldest sister and so of course, many of their questions were directed toward her and the biggest ones were; How do they look together? Does it look wierd? Does she look a lot older?

YM wanted me to hear his sister's answer and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a nicer take on us. This is pretty much verbatim what she said, because I had YM say it several times, just so I could digest it and enjoy it. She said "Well, you can tell that she's older, but it sort of hard to place her age because she's taken care of herself. The things they talk about and the way they look at each other...well, you know they "know" things about each other. So, they look like they belong together and no, they don't look weird. They look right."

I'm looking forward to getting to know this sister better!! :D

That must feel great to hear. I know I always wonder about how people look at Andrew and I. I know I always expect people to say something or make a weird face or have a reaction-which never seems to happen. But having someone actually say "you guys look good together" or something, would be a nice reassurance :p

It is good to hear that age gap relationships are working for a lot of people who want them. I had a really great response when my family met my husband for the first time. They are REALLY critical most of the time. And they know Im very non-conventional most of the time about lots of things. Ive always been labeled as "wild", "crazy", even "weird"............oh well............ SO they expected my new young Hispanic husband to be some wild, crazy, weird experiment. But they all took me aside at different times and told me how impressed they were with him, and how natural we looked together. They thought he was just going to be some sex toy, ( LOL, well, sometimes) But he seemed to them to be a real man, husband. Even my 91 year old father fell in love with him! I knew they would. He is an exceptional person like no other. How did I ever get this lucky? I ask myself this every day of my life. After being unhappily married for so long to someone else, Im always almost shocked at what real love is. It is all new to me now. Weve been married for 2 and a half years now.
Life is good............ Do we look weird together? Im not sure, I know we are right together. He is sleeping on our bed right now, and I hear hin=m breathing. He doesnt even know about this site. It is not a secret. Only that he is not a computer person. But all of you who are in this kind of relationship understand me. I wish everyone in the world could be happy with their mates like we are together. We look right together in our own eyes.
