grumpysgirl 07-13-2008, 01:42 AM Well today I received the NO 2 thing and NOW sending in the 2cd part...we are so excited and cried today. He has been saving tons of money and so have I so we can have a good start. He showed me some designs for our wedding cake and we have picked one we love!
SOOOOOO the count down begins! If I can find a timeline thing I will make one to show the dates of it all!

I was wrong it was the noa1 ROFL...BUT we are in almost 2 months AND should have the noa2 SOON!...When I received the mail It was 3 am when I got off work so was blind ROFL...I was so excited posted and then a few days
later saw it was noa1 AT this time they are doing march and april filers and from what USCIS says they hired 500 people to get it moving faster because of being behind..California center is behind months!! BAH WHICH is ours

From memory (and it's getting hazy now, must be age :eek: ) California wasn't good for doing things quickly. Our NOA2 came really very quickly after the NOA1, but then that was vermont, who seemed to be throwing them back out faster than they went in!
Hopefully yours will be quick though. Fingers crossed. Has he made sure he has everything ready for the consulate so he can send the forms straight back once he gets them? That's where ours stalled a little bit, because I didn't want to jump the gun and get my police record, etc, too early. I wasn't expecting it to go through so quick!

Well CSC is BEHIND bad...some folks have not heard anything about the noa1 and I got mine before them! CSC is NOW behind 5 months!!
They just hired for all places 500 people and are trainging them because of the outpouring of visas! ACK..so we will see what the next month brings to make things go a tad faster!
