Happy's Morning B**CH - No Coffee

ROFL. I thought that might grab ya'lls (What the heck is the possessive plural of y'all anyway> Ya'll's???) attention.

(Yawning) No coffee yet in the office. Should've stopped at the evil empire (Starbucks) for some coffee, but I was CERTAIN there would be some in this office by the time I arrived. After all, I sat in traffic for an hour and a half this morning (that's a big deal here in Charleston. It usually takes me 15 minutes to get to work) and was SURE that people who lived CLOSER to the office would have some coffee ready. No such luck.

Between the time change, my schedule change (working from 7:30 to 4:00 so I can teach a children's kung fu class at 4:30), preparing my honey's business moving to a new building, TAXES and the pollen in the air (allergies) I have transformed from a sweet, effervescent bubble of joy and love to a snarling, snotty, congested *****ing MONSTER. ROFL. I'm not my usual self.

So, my annoying thought for the morning is WHY ARE PEOPLE SO HUNG UP ON OUR AGES???????? ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!! One of my employers just realized how "OLD" B is and was like "oh...well then..." and made a face. Really guys, what's the BIG FAT HAIRY DAMN DEAL???? I just want to shout it in the streets! "Make love, not difficulty! Make love, not difficulty!" Walk naked on the courthouse steps in protest! WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL??

I LOVE this board and I am so glad to have found you guys, but isn't it ridiculous that we even NEED this support group (Please don't take that the wrong way. I love, adore and worship you guys and am so glad to have ya!) But really, it's not like we are pre-pubescent 12 year olds. Most of us are intelligent, mature women who are WISE enough to just love, love, love and recognize it when we find it! Unlike most "un-learned" people our age, we don't set down a ridiculous, shallow and impossible standard of pre-requisites for potential love mates! I mean, I have peers whose potential mate MUST meet the following requirements: "Tall, dark, handsome, rich, nice car, 30-ish, wants kids, wants to work *** off while I join the junior league and dick around at home..." Whereas I have found most of us in the situation we are in just love our mates because WE DO. Because they are wonderful and love us too. Grrrr.

I would bet money that my relationship with B is healthier, better and more solid than ANYONE who works in my office could ever dream. The reason for that being that B has enough life experience to not get wrapped up in any head games or game playing; that even when I throw a temper tantrum or a nutty, he calmly stands there, calling me on it but throughout the argument, reminds me that he loves me. That the argument is just a temporary situation, a moment in time and he doesn't let me get carried away with it.

B was also a real a** during his first marriage. But he learned from that. He understands karmic law and laws of true love and lives by them.

Those are a few of the millions of reasons why I love him so very, very much. It has nothing to do with his age. It would have been easier on us socially if we were closer in age, but we are not!

ACCEPT IT PEOPLE. We aren't little Barbies who go out on the prowl zeroing in on the first salt-and-pepper hair line we see!!! We are just women who are smart enough to recognize love when we see it.

Love you guys (grumble grumble grumble),
Happy

My Dearest Happy!!!

Welcome to grouchola land. It happens, people are close minded and don't care to learn or accept the unfamiliar. Damn those people. Maybe you should run through the city and yell it....but what you may think was *****ing and moaning....your words really hit home with me, please feel free to vent any time.

ROFLMAO. I am totally Jekyll & Hyde. My family knows it best, but people always laugh when they see my non-peaceful side. It's always pretty shocking to them when my left eye starts to twitch and I go off like a rocket. It's hilarious. (Comes with my nature - born smack-dab in the middle of a transition from Taurus to Gemini. Duality and stubborness, what else could anyone ask for??)

Normally I'm sweet.:) A smart a**, but sweet.:p

Now, I'm off to the courthouse (zipper coming down! Off with the dress!)

tears off clothes, zeroing in on the first salt-n-pepper hairline...

i mean...oops, kind mixed two posts there!!

lmao

seriously though...think about this: if it wasn't the age, what else would it be? race? weight? hair--or lack thereof? There are people out there who cannot stand to see others so very happy...and will make snide remarks on any perceived negetive to attempt to burst your bubble.

Kill them with kindness, Happy...chin up, keep smiling, remember--YOU have a reason to smile!
