Maria 04-09-2003, 04:24 AM We finally did it! We met, the three of us, Lonestar Stevo (Steve), Shewolf (Leigh) and I, and it was just as I had imagined. We got along so well, had lots of fun, and learned a lot about each other.
http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/contrib/fk/cheer4.gif Guys, Shewolf is gorgeous! She will be angry at me, but I will tell you, what a body! :D And I don't know where she learned to walk like that, but it's like seeing a hot Latin top model (yes, all of that mixed) walking.
http://smilies.crowd9.com/contrib/xerx/MODhappyjayn.gif Beautiful long blond hair and blue eyes, she could be the teenager next door, only she's got better manners http://smilies.crowd9.com/contrib/fk/wink.gif. And she's kind, warm, easy to be with, funny...we had a great time in a book store having a look at a certain book, wow! It got me blushing, but we had good laughs!
http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/contrib/anym/male.gif Then, ladies, there's Steve. He's sweet, shy, intelligent, kind, kind, kind, kind. Beautiful, gorgeous eyes, so mesmerizing that I can't tell you whether they were blue or green, but they are the most beautiful eyes! He reminds me of my nephew Bruno, with a kind of fragility that touches you, and at the same time always trying to protect you. He was the one in charge to find the stores for me! http://www.freeadpower.org/~mrsmiles/otn/love/kotc.gif
And then, the region. Wonderful place to visit. Bath, with its victorian architecture (correct me, Leigh, if I am wrong- boy, does this woman carry an encyclopedia inside her head or what?) and the famous Roman Baths. Stonehenge, well, I loved it and used to occasion to place a special witch prayer there...we had lovely sunny days (cold for me, I was wearing my heavy coat and my gloves and those two were in t-shirts and light things).
I miss them already. If I were not in love already, I would have fell for one of them (why, a problem with that? )!;)
Tall Guy 04-09-2003, 04:59 AM I'm glad you had such a good time with them, i'm jealous!
I had the pleasure of meeting 1 person from here. . .I met up with Patricia. Though I can't say that we did a lot of fancy smansy things. . .we did get to walk the streets (literally the streets) of San Francisco's Hayes Valley. We had great conversation, and an overall good time. I hope to meet up with several of my friends here. . .and I only hope i'm able to report back (if I ever meet anyone else *crosses fingers that I do*) as nice a story as you have here today.
Steve

Nessa 04-09-2003, 05:04 AM Princessdy will be here in a few weeks and we will meet her. At least I will. Brian is feeling shy about agelesslove.com.
Being in the DC area means lots of folks want to visit the area. With summer coming the house is open and available for folks to visit here.
Maria 04-09-2003, 05:26 AM Nessa, I will come one day, I've always wanted to go and now I have a good friend there...YOU! :)
Yes, Leigh, you'd told me, Georgian style, but what a little memory I have!
Maria 04-09-2003, 06:32 AM it was also nice to talk about our other friends from Ageless and our experiences, this was precious. They have even told me that they were ready to come to Luxembourg to kick some *** if someone hurt me again, isn't that cute? http://users.telenet.be/eforum/emoticons4u/love/586.gif
http://techhelpers.net/e4u/drink/trink25.gifI have to confirm, these two don't drink beer, only coffee and orange juice, so I didn't get them to reveal any dirty secrets, I am sorry...on the other hand, I am being blackmailed now because I drank some beer http://techhelpers.net/e4u/drink/trink40.gif and well, couldn't keep my mouth shut
pictman 04-09-2003, 04:27 PM So Maria, planning any new trips? That sounds fun, maybe a Northern California sojourn? :) I would be open to meeting of some of my fellow NorCal'rs. Do I hear you like "des bieres?"
suicideblonde 04-09-2003, 04:46 PM But this thread brought tears to my eyes. I guess because it just proves how much smaller the world seems to be getting every year due to the net and easy access to travel and individual freedom. I mean, I would never think this would have even occurred to my mother to do ANY of this! Ain't life today GRAND at times!!!!
PS So glad you all had a great time and have many fantastic memories....
Gillian 04-09-2003, 07:40 PM Gillian is crying too. What a meeting! My parents retired to Somerset. Wells - near Bath and Stonehenge - wowsie - guess you didn't do the Druid thing and all roll around in the mud? Did you do any Jane Austen type things? Such a beautiful part of England.....how I miss it.
Gillian
Polly 04-09-2003, 09:07 PM That is so COOL that you all got to meet! What a place to meet, too!
I know everyone's tired of hearing about Julie's and my meeting, but I'll try to retell it in brief: Robin, the kids and I were driving to FL and decided to meet with her in Macon, GA. I had already been talking to her for 2 years, both on the net and on the phone. I couldn't WAIT to meet her and her kids! We booked rooms at a Holiday Inn (I wish we could have found better, but we were on an interstate loop in Macon, the easiest route) and the first time I saw her, I was stunned at how GORGEOUS she was! :) She really is even prettier than her pics. Her children were gorgeous as well, and very well-mannered.
We went out by the pool and let the kids swim while we caught up on the latest events with eachother. Robin was "pool boy" and brought us drinks and towels for the kids. We took some pics. Then we all went back to our rooms and got ready for dinner. Came out, more pics! Then we went to dinner (which was okay, but we were limited to Holiday Inn restaurant...again, I wish we could have gone someplace better, but our location didn't have a lot of alternatives).
After dinner, we brought out games for the kids and left the older ones in charge of the younger ones while we went to the Holiday Inn lounge, where we listened to a duo literally BUTCHER every song they did! Julie kept wanting me to get up there! :D Then there were these older women getting up and dancing to the NOISE...the whole thing was pretty comical. There were two cute guys at the end of the bar checking Julie out. They talked to her for a bit, but she blew them off. We had a few drinks, talked about everything under the sun, had some laughs, then midnight came too soon, and we had to retire. Robin and I had 500 miles to drive the next day.
We have gotten even closer since our meeting, talking or IMing almost daily, and hope our next meeting will be longer and in a cooler place. It's like meeting someone you're already friends with, when you meet a friend from the net. Exciting and really nice! :)
Maria 04-10-2003, 05:04 AM http://e4u.consoleradar.com/happy/1417.gif Gillian, that region of England is really beautiful, so green, neat, with beautiful houses and woaw, beautiful people, too!
I seem to have missed http://e4u.consoleradar.com/happy/801.gif the waiter at the Costa coffee shop, that even Steve said was kind of cute, but I found ten other cute ones on the street...one passed by us and I looked back at the same time that Leigh, and said, wow, cute, huh, but she had just looked back because he had pushed the button to cross the street and she wanted to use the occasion to cross, too! He was not her type, I assume...but then again, she's used to those gorgeous guys, she doesn't live in Luxembourg...http://e4u.consoleradar.com/happy/1459.gif I am just kidding!!!!
Girls, great place to spend some vacations and treat your eyes to nice "muscular" views...http://e4u.consoleradar.com/happy/1074.gif
. . . no one told me when or where the party was. . .

I am sorry Maria, I truly didn't see the cutie at the crossing, :( I looked back because I heard the signal, u forget my sight is appauling :( and I am far to vain to use my white stick lol
Maria 04-11-2003, 06:19 PM Hey, Leigh, next time we'll go after them! If you are not taken by then, because in that case, I'll have to go alone!

Now it's my turn to Howwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwlllll

Polly, that's exactly what is happening to us, too. I try to talk to Steve and Leigh everyday, I miss them terribly. It's more than cyber friendship now, it's having got to know the person in her whole pack, voice, looks, expressions, silences...it's just pure magic!
