Would you want to know the exact time and cause of your death?
Watched a movie on this one...a comedy.
I don't know about EXACT, but maybe a general idea so I can live my life and feel a sense of accomplishment. I know I should LIVE life to it's fullest to begin with...but maybe I wouldn't stop to worry about the small stuff if I knew.
Let's see how this weeks question takes off :)

I believe I know how long I will live. Without wanting to appear too new-age space cadet, I have a number...an age...it regards a dream, and the lines of my palm. Anyway, I'm going to live to be 96 years old.
If I'm wrong? well at least no one gets to tell me "I told you so!" cuz I'll be gone...
Seriously...I will live my life expecting that I will live a full one...but I will not squander my moments. Live expecting the big picture--don't disregard the details. Every sunrise I happen to see? Cherished. Every gesture of love I experince? Beloved memory. Every time something so beautiful, so wonderful that it takes my breathe away for an instant is experienced, I pause, I be still, I reconcile my mind to the possability that this might be the last one I get...but I still move forwards and seek the next breath-taking moment.
Do I really want to know how much time I have here? Not a chance. Why flip to the last page, spoil the ending, and thereby spoil every in-between word of the story of my life?

Nope! Don't want to know. Because instead of embracing it, my natural reaction would be to live my life in fear and obsessing how to overcome it! ROFL.
Nope. I treasure each day I live and breathe anyway. I wouldn't want that to change. It would be too sad.
Love,
Happy

Well, I could care less if I knew when I was going to die. I don't see why you'd need to have your exact date and time of your death in hand to know that you've lived your life to the fullest. If you don't feel you are. . then live it up!
We talked about death last monday in my Anthro class, about what diff cultures do about death. Basically everyone does something about it. But our culture has a lot of anxiety around death; we worry that it will be painful or what not. Or, we worry about those who we will leave behind us. Anyone who you'd be worried about leaving behind knows you very well, and has enjoyed your life (atleast in my opinon). Sure I would not want any pain to come to those who I love after I pass, but I will rest peacefully knowing that I brought a smile to all of those who I loved, and hopefully they will remember that.

It's so true Steve.
And in some cultures (which I think people should look into) they celebrate death because it's a passing to a new life. I don't want people to cry and mourn when I die. Okay, I don't mind if they miss me a whole bunch, but just know that I'm in a better place.

EMCAD,
I think I would like to know the exact time of my death so I could prepare my loved ones and myself for the time to come.
I have not always been a very spiritual person, but I have tried to go to church. And as a result of that I did get saved. But I have been slacking off as far as reading my bible goes.
Besides that, I'd love spending all the time I had left with family and D.

no i would not want to know...my big fears are driving next to big trucks on the highway, and going to the dentist. so if that would predict my death, i dont wanna know! i would rather live like each day is my last, and try not to worry...because i probably am not even worrying about the right stuff...
