I was wondering what happened to your post. I didn't get to read any replies after EMCAD's agreeing with me that we love you and support you.

Maybe someone (troll) came in and wrote something nasty or something. That sux, 'cause I was really interested in what others had to say on the subject (good bad or indifferent).

I haven't seen or heard anything about it...which thread? The lot of stuff one? I don't know whats going on with the site. At first I was thinking that we lost some posts from the server gonig down...but that doesn't seem to be the case because all the rest of the threads are here. I really don't know. I can't recover anything...the only 'power' I have is to delete, but I wouldn't delete anything unless we have another ANNEX come around. I'm sorry, but I am afraid nothin' can be done on my end.

okay...so I have had all kinds of problems getting this through. First time I typed it the boards went down and it went POOF. Then it stayed there, but the people it was for didn't get to read it as the whole thread is gone. But I will patiently re-type it, because I remember what was said, and think it important.

Ladies...datura and Happy , thank you for sharing something so deeply personal. The fact that you DID says a lot for the kind of people you are--caring and trusting. The fact that you COULD share it here says a lot for this community...caring and trusting.

The choice to carry a life or not is extremely personal and private. And that is why it needs to remain a choice--because of its' very personal nature. Ultimately, the choice rests on one person and one person has to deal with all the emotional weight of it before and after. Deeply personal, deeply private...one of the hard choices of life.

Whenever we are faced with a tough choice, when both options presented are negative in their own way, it is easy to look back and think "well, maybe to other choice would have been better."

And to that, I say this:

The paths in Destiny's garden are myriad. Looking in from the top, or the outside, one sees each life as a labrinth, with many twists and turns, and forks in the road. So, here's the skinny the Admins gave me. They think it was either one of two things:

1. The server deleted it
2. Or a member hacked in and deleted it (I guess there has been problems)

but they DID NOT delete it. This is the 3rd rule of the site:

Controversial topics should be handled with respect and care of the community, we believe in freedom of speech, but also have a focus on harmony within the community. You will know if your thread or post is offensive and we would expect you to modify or delete the content as required.

So, I hope it's a fluke....grrrr....
