I love Foreigner! Such an awesome rock band, it's a shame about Lou Gramm's cancer. "Cold As Ice," "Double Vision," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," and "I Wanna Know What Love Is" are my favs from them.

But I like a lot of current bands. Dave Matthews Band, Hootie and the Blowfish, Matchbox 20, Vertical Horizon, Barenaked Ladies...all good stuff!

Third eye Blind, Korn, Matellica, Kid Rock, Green Day, POD, Nirvana, Foo fighters, No doubt, Rob Zombie, Sum 41, White Stripe, strokes, blink 182, Audio slave, sound garden, zepplin, pink floyd, ozzie, iron madien, Blind mellon, eminem, bush, JANICE JOPLIN, 4 non blonds, Staind, ......just to name a few. Oh yeah cant forget sublime and violent femms

Kiss is my favorite rock band (without the makeup). RIP Eric Carr. They were much better musically. Some people think they were better with the makeup but they are allowed to be wrong:D . I saw Kiss six times. January 24, 1988 (Buffalo, NY: Memorial Auditorium). October 3, 1992 (Toronto, ON: Toronto Maple Leaf Gardens). July 22, 1996 (Pittsburgh, PA: Pittsburgh Civic Arena). October 13, 1996 (Buffalo, NY: Marine Midland Arena). November 29, 1998 (Buffalo, NY: HSBC Arena). June 24, 2000 (Buffalo, NY: HSBC Arena). Before they put the makeup back on...did you know they were together longer without it? I also listen to a wide range of music. From Slayer to ABBA. VH to AC/DC.

I love the Steve Miller Band! He was such an awesome rocker back in his heyday.

"Jungle Love," "Fly Like an Eagle," and "Wild Mountain Honey" are my favorite songs by him. "Fly Like an Eagle" is part of his best album (same title).

Has to be the boys from Boston... AEROSMITH... just like an OW... they keep on rocking the older they get. I've been to the last six shows in Dallas and plan on going when Kiss joins them later this year!

In think Jimi Hendrix was ahead of his time. The way he played taht guitar of his is still amazing, especially for younger audiences. Very awesome and psychadelic!

I just saw this thread and Def Leppard rocks!!!!!! I love EVERY one of their songs and talk about good songs for lovemaking...mmmmm...

Their new album is so good!! Download "Four Letter Word"! It is the most "turn up the radio loud, roll down the car windows and drive fast" song I know!! (well, I have a list of a dozen or more of those kind of songs but it is on the list)

P.S. I have to add Aerosmith to my vote. I will never forget the first time I heard them. I was about 17 and at a party. Someone played the "Get Your Wings" album. I heard "Train Kept A Rollin" and I was hooked!!! I made them play it over and over. :)

P.P.S. I am not including new stuff in my vote. I don't think they have enough staying power to be voted on yet. Ask me again in 10 years. :)

Wow, great thread. Great to see all of the people with really good taste in music on here. :) My tastes range from mild to wild. It really depends on my mood. Love music passionately, and always looking to be turned onto new and interesting things.

Right On Rckn.... I agree it's aerosmith... love those boston boys.......who else would take out a sleigh and get there records to stores in a middle of a snow storm???? Aerosmith!!!! hehehOne year it was to bad they shut almost everything on the roads... and it was the day aerosmiths album came out... well they went out together and delivered albums to a record stores.. great huh :)
