My names Jon, I'm 20 (so close to 21 and yet so far :mad: ). I'm in Grand Rapids, MI, and after being burned almost by every girl I dated b/c of just really fickle crap, and meeting a few really nice O/W, I have decided that I don't even want to bother with the girls my age anymore, it all turns out the same it seems.
I'm into a lot of stuff, but I love cycling, like my signature says, Live to Ride, Ride to Live, Ride to Work. I am a strong proponent of Alternative Transportation for enviromental, health, and practical reasons. I'm into art, music (recorded-I suck at instruments), hiking, mtn biking, camping canoeing, movies, etc etc...

grunpunkt 06-06-2003, 11:44 PM Yeah thanks I should clarify that point... the attraction to older women came AFTER I talked to a few when *several* girls my age totally burned me. I realized typically O/W are more mature and less concerned with little petty or fickle stuff.

Unfortunately for a lot of you guys, Texas is the only state that currently has that option. And I would love to see us withdraw to our own republic. I have novel called "The Power Exchange" that was written back in the late '70's early '80's by the former director of our Public Utility Commission about that very thing.
After all, we do have most of our own resources and we have our own army so maybe us Texans should lead a revolution to get out of the F***ed up US and have our own great republic!!! One thing for sure, we have enough conservatives that we would not be giving all our money to useless causes.
BTW Jon, don't take it personally, any thread is likely to take many twists and turns. That's what makes life and this board interesting :)
