William, the kids and I just got back from this movie, Johnny Depp is outstanding playing Pirate (captain) Jack Sparrow!

Johnnys acting was amazing, he gave Jack the best personality nobody could copy, and he was Sexy!

This was the best damn movie I have seen in a long time, the Kids loved it, and there was never a dull moment
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!!!!

A sword is thrown towards his feet, read the date on the sword, my kids swear it says 1998!


Also for those who have seen it, Why doesn't Elizabeth get the curse? It does seem to me she also "stole" the medallian!!
(I am thinking cuz she is not a real "pirate")

Just watched it today and loved the movie. Beautifully made and good storyline.

I have 2 jonny Depp movie poster hung up in my closet,one is from "Chocolate"(that's the one he looked so much like my husband in,and the other is from "Blow"....I LOVE him,always have...he'll always be "Edward Sissorhands" to me...I even have an Edward Sissorhands snow globe,it had my favorite scene,the one where he is doing the ice sculpture of Winona and it looks like it's snaowing.SOOOOOO pretty:)

I did not like the movie...it was likable...but i disagreed on what they did with it.....first of all, there should have been a love triangle....Johnny was awesome, but the writer should have written in for him to have some kind of love interest in Elizabeth so that it would create a conflict with Orlando....

and someone should have died....

the eyeball schtick got ridiculous after they used it so many times....

overall, it was funny, but i don't buy that Elizabeth even liked Orlando all that much.....she was too preoccupied with other things to even think about him too much......

the parts i laughed at nobody else laughed at....like the eunich references.....that was great......

i would say it was worth seeing, but not a masterpiece.

I'm not big on swashbuckler movies (yes, thats a real word!!) but this one was awesome. Well, only because of Johnny Depp ;) I've loved him ever since 21 Jump Street lol. And he is still as hot as ever!!!! I thought the eyeliner and braided hair with beads was sexy!! His animated personality was hilarious!! He was just this kind of off the wall pirate, not mean or anything. And yeah, I kept wondering why he and Elizabeth never got romantically involved. They even had the chance while they were stranded on the desert island ;) I kinda felt bad that he didnt have a woman!! Oh well, such is the life of a pirate I guess!!

But damn! It was a good good dream!!!
It must be this low carb diet!!

I had a dream about my husband being in a bath tub the other night with a girl:mad: I wanted to HIT him when I woke up....:mad:

I love the movie and failed to find a book associated with this movie. It's not about how cute Johnny Depp is, but about how he uses his eyes, his body and his gesture to portray Captain Sparrow. He made the whole movie interesting! Yet, the plot can be somehow refined though. There are places that seem to be too long.
