Hello everyone! I started posting here for a short while several months ago and then life/work got busy so I havent been around too much. Im back now though and just wanted to get my name back on the boards. How about a little info about me then.

Im a 25 y/o automotive designer from southern Michigan and live about an hour west of Detroit (in the country). Im a very easy going, relaxed person who doesnt like to worry! An average Saturday for me might consist of waking up early and working on my house/property, working out, going out on the pontoon with friends, perhaps go out to the bar in the evening. I have lots of interests and hobbies. I like weightlifting, building computers, listening to good music (a mixed bag), camping, hiking, being with friends....too much to list.

In about 3 weeks Im getting my new dog. He is a Siberian Husky and will be 8 weeks old when I pick him up. I am very excited about this! Im a big animal lover and will stop to help turtles across the road (yes I live in the country).

What am I looking for? I dont really know. If I could describe my ideal woman and/or relationship I would. I guess what I am hoping for is to meet some nice people here, maybe start talking to a nice lady eventually and see where things lead. Yes I am attracted to older women and also, in many ways, I feel I get along with them better.

Anyway, if anything here intrests you, or you would just like to know more, feel free to email me or talk to me on the boards. Ill be around posting more now that my job has settled down.

Cheers,
Shannon

the rain is coming back here this weekend. Hopefully you will be able to have a nice weekend, being out on your motorcycle , with no rain. Sounds like a fun weekend ahead. Nothing like getting hit by rain on a motorcycle, ouch. Btw...what type of bike do you ride?

Well hopefully you'll end up getting a nice weekend anyway. The weather seems crazier than ever this year and changes on a whim. Riding in the rain is no fun when you dont have any farings or windshield. Ill usually ride in a full helmet if its raining though. I have a black 2002 Honda Shadow ACE. Its a cruiser and could be called a Harley Davidson FAT BOY clone. Thats fine with me though becuase it cost about $10,000 less than a new Fat Boy and looks just as good :-)

continued nice weather would be good. I have to say the Honda Shadow is a good looking set of wheels.

I started/learned on a Honda Shadow 450, back in the 80's. There were Thursday crusie nights. That was at a time Ninjas were in popular demand.
Believe me the 450 was not much of a cruiser riding on the back...lol Anyhow, It has been a long time since I've cruised on a bike, but i still have an eye for them, especially a Dyna.

The Dyna's are nice. I REALLY like Honda VTX and Valkyrie.

Whoa! The Honda VTX has awsome curves. Really a nice design. You have nice taste in bikes:cool:

Ever since Ive laid eyes on the VTX nothing has compared and the Valkyrie has grown on me alot. I will own one of the two within the next 3 years. Just want to finish paying off some other things first.

Sounds good. As for the Valkyrie, I'll have to check that one out.

I had a chance to look at a few Honda motorcycles on the net. Yes indeed a nice design on the Valkyrie cruiser. Now the Magna and Sabre by Honda are also awesome designs that have my attention.

So, do you ride much? How far have you traveled on your Shadow?

Ok, sorry it took me so long to write back. The camping trip extended until Monday and Ive been so busy the last few days catching up.

To answer your question though, I try to ride a few times a week. Maybe 50 or more miles each time. Occasionally Ill ride it to work. But it can be a drag riding my bike on the freeway at 80 mph with no windshield to stop my head from buffeting.

Welcome back! When do you get to pick your puppy up? I, too, have a Siberian Husky. My gosh, are they a lot of work training... I wish you tons of luck and a wonderful time with your puppy....
I will now leave you and Venus back to the motorcycle chat (which I know nothing about)!!! *smiles*
