Luann 07-11-2003, 02:34 PM Hi there,
I'm new here, though I have been checking out the boards for awhile now - terrific site!
Anyone from Arizona? I'm a transplant - from Michigan (near Ann Arbor) originally.

lovemyow 07-11-2003, 03:56 PM Welcome!
I'm a newbie myself, and am here to say that this is the best board I have ever found for ageless love!
More the merrier! WELCOME!!
Luann 07-11-2003, 04:58 PM It's great to be here!
Hmmm, about me.....I've been in AZ since the fall of '97 - moved here with my ex-boyfriend (who is 10 years younger than me) and stayed after we broke up ( about three years ago). I work at a university, have a cat (I had a Doberman but had to put her down in November - cancer - it was the hardest thing I ever had to do), llike to walk/hike, hang out with friends, read, swim, go to the movies, theatre, museums, etc. Can't think of much else!
:p
I had to put my cat to sleep about 8 months ago. I know how hard it is! TOO SAD! :( Sorry about your Doberman. They are some very sweet, smart dogs. My best friend had one.
How did you and your YM meet?
Luann 07-11-2003, 05:09 PM I also just finiished "The Cat Who'll Live Forever" -third in a series, true stories about a man and his cat and the cat dies in this one. I hadn't been able to read it all simmer and I cried through the last 50 or so pages - it was very hard to read and brought up all the emotion of losing Sadie (Doberman). Yes, they are wonderful dogs!
I med my ex YM on-line! Single stiill.
How did you meet your YM?
Luann 07-11-2003, 05:19 PM I'm having some trouble posting to messages so please bear with me!:D
On a RPG! Good luck with the posting!
Luann 07-11-2003, 05:29 PM We get so attached to our furry friends - so sorry about your cat, Tru.
I hope it's just getting used to this forum and once I completely figure it out, I will be okay! (One can always hope!):D

whisper 07-11-2003, 11:00 PM Welcome to Ageless. My husband and I live in Phoenix. We moved here about 1 1/2 years ago from the San Francisco Bay area. I was born and raised in Phoenix and thought I'd never return, but I'm glad I'm here now. I am 50, and my husband is almost 24. He's from France. We are living with 3 of my sons and my sick mother. We had bought a new home in Paradise Valley, and I was working at Paradise Valley College as an ESL coordinator - I loved the job but quit in order to move into my mother's home and take care of her fulltime. I wonder how you like living in Arizona. My mother is originally from Michigan - it's a big change, isn't it?
I'm sorry to hear about your dog:( We have two dogs and 4 cats.
