saying goodbye and wishing all GREAT age-gap relationships

Hey all....just writing to let you know that my 'former' finance and I have decided as to give our relationship another shot. We have been offered an opportunity to moderate another board and as Joannlee knows=) that can be a CONSUMING task. I wish all of you well in your age-gap relationships. Mine was short-lived, but I gained many things from it that I will have with me for a lifetime. You are a wonderful, intelligent, thought-provoking group....you have provided me with advice, joy, tears, anger=)....all emotions that people who CARE about each other provoke in the other. I am very happy for you, and wish you all the best. I am sorry that being a bit newer here, I never really had the chance to know you better. But what I have read, and learned from your posts, is that you are one amazing and special woman. Always there for people with good advice and words of wisdom. And you have helped many, more than you know, I think. Don't leave, at least not completely, come back and visit with us.. (Besides, you are a fellow Illiniosian, and that makes you cool too.. .. not to many of us here.. )

well thanks all=) and YES, ill 'check-in'...you all KNOW im addicted to this site, lol. But ive really had to monitor my OWN computer TIME..duns tell my kids!! Work gonna get busy here, u know...OBLIGATIONS that take time away from FUN stuff. Just wanted u to know i feel about ALL the people here...there are truly some good people here....really UNLIKE any place Ive been on the 'net'.....u have a GREAT site going here....take care.

ps..the site im going to is currently under 'transition' and i will let you all know once 'details' are worked out...it is a relationship site for couples/singles who have dealt with co-dependency. My ex-finance and I have struggled for years with his relationship with his mother. It is really difficult for people to break from such an unhealthy relationship and very hurtful to the partners involved. He has done lots of work here.....I have to give him kudos....TIME will tell if changes are lasting...but at least my eyes are WIDE OPEN this time in entering the relationship again....his are too.
