Does anyone here have a close relationship with their siblings?

I have an older sister who is totally awesome. She is also scorpio with taurus rising(mine virgo rising). Ever since she listened to Tony Robbins, my relationship with my sister is better now. We hang around alot and spend time at the beach during the weekends to work out. She doesn't look like me and we get mistaken for bf and gf. I hope that all of you have a good relationship with your sister or brother because that is really important. Please share with the group a little bit of what you love about your sibling.

I guess what I love the most about my sister is that she overcame a physical handicap. She has one arm is shorter than the other and her thumb is not in the correct place plus there is a finger missing on that right hand. She has always been friendly and out-going with people.

She has a Bachelors and Master's degree in Social Work now. She is a Professor at Midwestern University and this past year won Social Worker of the Year for the North Texas area. Also her husband is 8 or 9 years younger than her...:)

My sister is 8 years younger than I and will begin high school in the autumn. She's overcome a lot.

For example, she has a learning disability, as well as ADD and an anxiety disorder. It makes school difficult and annoying for her. The trouble is that all of her prblems usually result in a lack of enthusiasm for doing anyhting.

She and I have our moments when we bicker, but I try to understand her issues. She's a good sister and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

I have a brother who's about 22 months younger. Since losing our mother at 15 and 17, we're been our main source of support all these years. Whenever I go out to dinner, I always try to bring something home for him even though he doesn't live with me anymore, but he's not that far away that he can't come and pick up. He's my best friend, and my handyman and I can't stand the fact that he's 42 and not married.

He's always dated older women, so I'm always on the lookout for someone. Although I have to warn ya, he's a Gemini and his evil twin visits regularly...lol

Yeah, my sister and I have a close relationship now. I have this brand new nephew, he's cool. Just under a year old. He talks to me on the phone and says, "Goo, gaga."

I am very close to my siblings. I am the youngest of 7 kids.

I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. We all live close to each other except for one who lives in another state next door to us. My mother recently died and so that made both parents gone and I think made us even closer. We all share whatever we have with each other and try and keep up even though our families have grown and some of us are now grandparents and have a hard time getting together to see each other as often as we would like.

I also have 7 nephews and 6 nieces,
then 13 great neices and 4 great nephews.

With all the spouses of those siblings and their offspring, we have 53 people in our family, AND we all look alike which people comment about all the time becuase it is odd to see a family with that strong of genes through that many generations.

I have always thought that someday I could possibly be a great-great aunt or even more!!

I have a sister who is 15 months older, which set the tone for an intense sibling rivalry. We had more than our fair share of quarrels
whether it was a shouting match over who got to stay up later or wrestling matches to see who could gain control over the remote control. No matter how many times I resented her place as my sister while growing up, I am now in debt to her for being my trailblazer. She was my right arm...:) It was not until recently when our mother was diagnosed with cancer that I embraced the fact that she will be my only family remaining when our parents are no more....:)

I have one sister who is 17 months younger than I am. When we were growing up we fought all the time. We are so different in our personalities. But as we grew older we became closer. Now she is my best friend. For many years we lived far apart. It is nice to be back in Denver after all these years and be 15 minutes away from her. We talk on the phone or go out together. It's awesome!
