Sorry for the late update. I usually post from work....but this week I've actually had work to do...go figure!
Well, we are back from the beach!! We had such a wonderful time. Of course, there was plenty of traffic on the way up, but rather than get irritated, we kept each other laughing and singing. He is such great company. Once we arrived at the beach we went swimming, and then rented bikes and rode up and down the boardwalk. Ate dinner at a cozy little spot with nasty spaghetti....but I must say that despite the nasty plate of food that I ended up with, I loved every second watching Ken beside me relaxing and enjoying being away from all of the stress he's normally under. We even strolled the beach under the moonlight and sat in the lifeguard tower and watched the waves lapping up on shore. After scoping out a gallon of milk from a little grocery store, we went back and (I) ate cookies and milk in bed, and we watched TV for awhile. No juicy tales after that cause I fell asleep :) Hehe. Of course, he didn't mind. Sometimes I think he enjoys watching me sleep just as much as our making love.
The next morning we swam some more, watched the sunrise over the water, and just hung out relaxing. It was spectacular. And now I pose a question...is there any place more romantic than the beach? The salty air, warm sand, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets make it a spectacular place to be with the person that you love. It is so easy to see all of the beautiful things in life when you have someone that you love in your sights.
Well, gotta run for now...I think that I smell my dinner cooking ;)
