Someone Made A Death Threat Against My Gf!

It all happened when my gf had to terminate the employment of someone who works under her and move the office of another. Well the one who had to move her office threw a big fit and left a message on her work phone as if she threatened suicide! She left the same message on her sisters phone also. Then this worker's sister left a death threat against my gf and another one of her co-workers!:( Luckily they found out the worker didn't commit suicide, but attemped suicide by OD'ing on Xanax! So her sister realized this and refrained from killing my gf.
Finding that out got me worried big time. Especially knowing I'm on the other side of the country with the USMC and can't protect my lady right now.

Jeff, if it would make you or her feel better, she can call the police and request a night and/or day patrol to go slowly by the house every hour or 30 minutes. This is a service that most police departments will do for a week or two.

One does have to be careful of workplace violence. Does her company have a guard at the door where ID's are checked?

I can understand the frustration of not being with her. Is she still scared or nervous?

and are cause for libel and court fines and court sentencing...take them to court/tell her to go to the judge magistrate and file a restraining order against them...I sure hope she is doing something...

Once again, I agree. It definitely should be reported, and a restraining order filed, if only just for your peace of mind and your girlfriends.

I am so sorry that she had to go through this, and you as well. How scary that is! And over moving an office??? Jeez louise! I know sometimes people can take things and blow them way out of proportion, but suicide and death threats....

My thoughts are with you both.

Hello Jeffy and THANK YOU for doing your part in the USMC to protect US!
I am glad all turned out well. It tough when something like this happens. But 99% of all threats are just talk. Someone just mouthing off.
Stay safe, and when you get through protecting us, come on home and protect your lady. Till then we will keep an eye on her for you...................

She works for the State of Alabama Dept. of Education. So the ***** who made the death threat called a government line, which is more than likely tapped. And some state troopers or FBI are probably headed to break down the door.:D
