Hard to tell. He in twenties....Niki in early thirties? Not sure. :-)

yep, that would be my answer too, he's in his early twenties and she's in her mid thirties

I would guess he is 25 or 26....she is late 30's early 40's

I'm horrible at guessing ages...

Tru

The first pic she looks like early thirties but I really scrutinized the others. So I am more inclined to say he is mid 20's and she is late 30's or early 40's. Plus....she is a MAKE-UP ARTIST! hehe..I need her! You just never know anymore though. I find the older I get, the younger everyone looks.
I would never ask someone to guess my age though. I am too chicken and I feel I look my age unlike some of the lucky ones who look younger. :(

Cute couple though.

I agree with Guinavere and Tru as for the girlfriend, I only think he's 26~27...pictures are sometimes difficult...

Is there a prize for correct guessing??? hehe :D

Let's see.

My guess is that the young gentleman in question is about 25-26.

As for Funky Monkey, I'd put her at about 36-38.

I'm a young and sexy man of 23 myself :D

;)

I don't mean to be cruel, but ever the psychologist ... I figure we were asked this question for a reason. The only reason I can think of is that the woman in the picture is much older than she looks. Therefore, I would say the woman is 50-55 and the young man 25-27.

MJ69
07-20-2003, 11:48 AM
Well this was my thought as well Moon, however I think you may have stretched it a tad far with 50-55. :D

Still stickin' with me own prediction.

I am prepared to be surprised though. :)

So come on Funky Monkey, don't keep us in suspenders. ;)

If I am more than 10 years off, I may have to leave Ageless from sheer embarrassment.

Wait! I just had another idea! Suppose he is 45 and she is 23?

I think I'd better go back to bed. It's safer there. :)

Al, I don't think she looks that wrinkly. I agree that b&w photos (and webcam shots) can iron a lot out, though.

I would guess the guy to be about my age, late 20s, early 30s. Since this is an OW/YM message board, she's most likely at least 10 years older.

BUT.... she is a GREAT makeup artist, alright... look at those eyes!!!

Funky Monkey, I want you to come over! Wah! I want pretty eyes too!

Tru
07-20-2003, 01:33 PM
I am thinking 40'ish for sure for the woman. He could be late 20's but I don't think he is in his 30's. I hate to be wrong and hurt someone's ego or feelings...but she did ask. I just know how I look, and I know how with good makeup and hair and young outfits and good lighting (love good lighting) I can look younger than my 44 years. (not much)

Ok I am going to look one more time. LOL

EDIT: ok 40-44 woman
24-28 guy And that IS my final answer!

He is between the ages of 21-24
she is between the ages of 45- 48

Hmm. If she is laughing her a$$ off, that means we are way off the mark. My revised predictions:

She: 55-59
He: 21-23

Tru
07-20-2003, 06:36 PM
I was just thinking the same thing Moon. I agree with Julianne too about seeing her age more in her eyes. She has great lips. Her chin and neck look a bit older in some of the photos too. Oh gee, why am I analyzing this? This should be under "Riddle me this".

Revised:HER:48-52 HIM:23-26 AGH...I am done..really I am.

Sorry to disappoint some of you but....

"In person"...with make-up on, I'm guessed at about 30 and without make-up - younger.
No wrinkles yet.....and no plastic surgery.
FYI Make-up actually makes a woman look OLDER!

I'm 38 !
Johnny is 23 !

Thanks for your comments. All the best to ya !

......gee....dis wuz fun.....lol

Truly in love,

Wow...really? Ok great...throwing out $$$$ of make-up! I need a consultation with a make-up artist then. ;)

You know, the nature of the post made me want to guess older. Just like...it must be a trick question so look close and don't go with first instinct. You are a very cute couple and your make-up looks fab!! Go you!

Oh yeah...MJ wins...hmm free make-up application session?

Funky...that was kind of fun! Your boyfriend is gorgeous, and your pics are beautiful.

I actually would have guess you closer to 30 and him around 25. I am disappointed to know makeup makes a woman look older....Holy crap! Im in trouble here! I have an entire drawer full of the stuff!

But, as someone once told me, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize...that is the key.

You both look great, and Im glad you have found someone who makes you happy. CONGRATULATIONS!

Now how RETARDED was that? *laughs*

Yeh I think we all thought it was some trick to the question yeh I've been mummafide *sp* lol

Anyhow, regardless of what ages we all came up with, it's good to see another AGELESS COUPLE.

Now if you don't mind Canadain gal, could you tell us some about yourself? your relationship, how you both met? or other.
As much as your wanting to share, is fine!

We live about an hour away from eachother. He's planning to move to my city by September......uumn--maybe sooner... It was love at first sight ! He is a scorpio, I'm cancer. We both have alot in common.....music, creative, romantic, family oriented, goal oriented......

My daughters (6 and 10) are meeting him this weekend.....We are all excited !

My revised prediction made me a winner for HIS age anyway .... does this mean I can have half a beer? :)

My apologies, Funky. Of course you don't look 55. It was just my overly wild imagination running away with me. :D

Lots of good wishes for you both!

Hmmm well this doesn't seem to be the case for me....i always look younger with it on.....

and if you have ever seen a Amish woman you would change that idea fast..LOL they all look old even when they are 20...and believe me I have seen my share of the Amish ;)

I believe if you use a heavy hand with makeup yeah then it would make you look old since your using it dramatically not refreshingly :p IMO

Congrats on you and your man ..you make a sweet couple:)

I agree with Foxy on both counts: First that makeup makes me look younger...but that is just the standard lipstick, mascara, eyeliner and blush. Now that liquid face make up definitely does age one as it goes into every nook and cranny and looks like one has more wrinkles than one does. And second, yes Amish women do look old, but look at their lifestyle! And finally yes, Funky, sun does do a number on our skin, but I personally could could not live without it (love my beach!) and my signature tan!!!! Anyway welcome to ageless with that "trick" question, as you do look young.... but let's face it ladies, 38 is NOT really old!!!! Sheesh.....

EYES

Keep mascara on your lower lashes to a minimum, especially if you are looking tired.

If your concealer is drying in fine lines around your eyes:
use less product and try the application with a concealer brush.
pat gently with your ring finger.
follow with translucent powder, using it sparingly.

Small eyes look even smaller with dark eyeshadows.

It is not recommended that you match your eyeshadow to your eye colour or your outfit.

The best time to tweeze your eyebrows is after a bath or shower; the hairs will come out much easier, since the skin is more soft and supple.

Try not extending lower eyeliner all the way to inner corner of the eye.

In order to make your eyes appear larger, leave a fine line between the edge of your eyelashes and the eyeliner.

Creamy eyeshadows will naturally crease, due to moisture, after several hours. Try using an oil- free foundation as an eyeshadow base. You can also try dusting a small amount of translucent powder to help shadow stay in place. Gently smoothing your fingertips over the eyelids every few hours is also suggested.

LIPS

Mix lipsticks to create new colours, especially lipsticks you don't particularly like:
break each lipstick into separate small containers.
heat slightly in the microwave until lipsticks are liquefied.
start creating new colours by mixing shades.
pour into pill boxes or palettes and allow product to set.

For that pout look, shade the outer corners of your lips with a lip liner darker than your lipstick and dab lip gloss on to the centre of the lower lip.

FACE

Apply foundation with a good make-up sponge, not your fingertips as this will leave a streaky finish on your skin.

When covering blemishes, "stipple" on your concealor sparingly (concealor after foundation) on the problem areas. To finish, sprits with a face toner and lightly pat on powder with a puff.

Well thanks for the tips Funky, especially the one above. Choice of lipsticks has been a problem I've had to wrestle with on numerous occasions. I'll take it that's my prize. :D ;)

i had planned to stay out of this thread since i would hate anyone to think i was 55, but i got sucked in by the make up tips. thanks Funky, because as you can see from my avatar i use quite a LOT of lipstick myself.
