bf feeling ashamed

my bf called me and said he was ashamed to be younger than me... how should i tell him that its ok to be older than he is??

What is he ashamed of? He is the one that is only a year younger than you right?

My fiance is 22 years younger than I am. Never has he been ashamed of being with me. He tells me he is the proudest man alive and lucky to have me. When we go out in public he holds my hand, kisses me when he feels like and never once has any thoughts of the age difference.

I think your bf needs some counseling about something...I am not sure what his problem is, but it makes me angry to read about his shame of being younger, especially since he probably looks older than you do.


Like Adri posted on another thread about this issue of your age difference...I would show the man the door!

You are two years older, you are going to be 46 and he's 44. One of your first questions here was about how to tell him the truth about your age, cause you had said you were a bit younger, not much.

Are you sure you want to go out with a man that age that considers this little difference as a reason to be ashamed?

The initial post (you edited it) was something about what you should wear for the night, about lingerie or I don't know what, but this is looking so weird, more and more.

I second that, and wonder why someone would post in the personals, when they are not looking for anyone, just so people can look at your pic, and guess an age?? Then you don't know what to wear? Now you want to know if a man using you as a pillow is normal? (I like that btw).. now you need to know how to tell someone it's ok to be two years older than them? Are you certain you are a 46 year old woman? I don't mean to offend, but I must admit, I do find these questions rather odd.

If we guess lady_love's real age...do we get a price like at the carnivals and fair's?

It isn't only what she says that sounds "unreal" (she said catily), but when she had her pic posted, there was obviously something else as well!

was I allowed to say that? I know I shouldn't have, but we usually do not post pics of us like that in this site.....album yes, but as a rule not here and I was like taken aback abit! But seriously, maybe he said that as a way out of the relationship because of the fact that he did catch you in a lie (albiet often a common one), and thought that maybe this was just the tip of the iceberg?

Maybe she is proud of her new breasts and was trying to show them off and found an excuse to do so with that silly question:confused:
