wonderful... one of Connery's best performances. His whit is right on que.. perfect timming.
There are many references to literary pieces that occur during this film. Ther are also infrences of pastworks on film, by most. I wont ruin the work for you, but I will say there is an exceptionally funny one where Mr Quartermain refers to Indianna Jones?
I counted seventeen of the little quips..
Its a must see for any one.. action adventure..slight romance.. fantacy... good all around fun!
