first sexual experience with older woman

Help!!

I have been dating a woman who is 67 years old. I am 44 years old and afraid that the first time might hurt her. We get so close to the act..then I freeze up. anyone have advice on this subject?

In what way are you afraid of hurting her?
do you think that she wont be able to take it because of her age?

JOE!! well...i think this is a valid question and im amazed at the compassion here for someone he cares for....acer...TELL HER what u have told us....ask her to let u know if something that u do is uncomfortable for her...if it hurts her to be sure and TELL YOU. She will be amazed that u care enough about her to ASK...and feel more comfortable sharing wut pleases her and asking the same from u....GOODLUCK!=)

You make her sound like a 16 year old virgin not a 67 year old grown woman. Your freezing probably comes across to her as though you ain`t interested in sex, or don't fancy the idea of her body. Maybe thinking she's to old for it or she just doesn't turn you on..
It may be a valid point, but I think she's old enough to know what to do and be aware of it herself. You just need to make sure you don't make a big deal of it, as you are now. I think telling her that you feel this way might not be a good idea either. Do you think your partner would find it caring or insulting to suggest that you are concerned that she is so old you may hurt her during sex ?. If you are rough enough and uncaring enough you can hurt any woman of any age during sex they don't have to be 67. If she was younger would you not consider this ?
Do you actually think a woman of her age is naive about sex ? And not wanting to be crude, even if she hasn't had a partner for years do you think she has had no sexual activity down there on her own ;-). I think you may have fallen into the trap of assuming that after a certain age people stop having or even thinking of sex, especially if they are single. Give it a go She might surprise you and not be the shrinking violet that it sounds like you think she is ;-))))) Just treat her like any other woman of any other age and be as gentle (or not) as she wants to be.

It is true Mick... I have an aunt who is 86 or 87. She is very attractive and has a boyfriend (younger of course). Trust me, studies have been done and the elderly are very sexual. They usually do more "foreplay" than younger folks but who says that's such a bad thing.

Really though I do see his concerns, expecially if he/she is a bit over eager, hips just aint the same as in the 20's as they are close to 70's!!
Mine get pretty sore at 38! Some women have brittle bones.

The human body is much more resilient than we often think it is. I've seen things that you would never believe is possible. I doubt that sex is beyond the capacity of most 67-year-old bodies, barring disease and injury and such (and even with that, there are always other options *g*).
