Why discreet?

LOL nessa. Perhaps you are right. Descreet usually means you want sex but don't want anyone to know about it for some reason. Like married? But perhaps something as innocent as Nessa suggests.

That is one thing I never figured out. The discreet thing.

I guess if you are looking to be discreet you are either embarrased or in dire need of hiding something.

Maybe we should post a thread somewhere else about it.

Have you guys read a newspaper lately ? Do you know what happens to some people in sensitive jobs who expose their private lives?

She's certainly entitled to her privacy, and to insist on the same from a potential friend. If the friend were to kiss and tell after.............. thats dishonest and wrong, and potentially dangerous.

But yes you are correct there are a few reasons why some people want descretion....though most typically its due to the fact that they are married.....

maybe not in her case though but she hasn't responded back to anyone so who knows whats up with her....so i guess we all will use our imaginations til then ;)

No I looked, her profile doesn't say teacher either.

We have many teachers/educators/ professors or whatever you want to call us here on this site, and not ONE that I can remember ever used the word "discreet' about anything! Thus i would surmise it is not because of her profession...
