I just finish watching a show on NBC in NY for the new fall lineup starting in the next couple of months.
Get ready for this new show..."Happy Family" w/John Larrorque ?
Its about their 20 yr old son who doesn't graduate high school but moves in with the older woman next door instead. Some of it looks funny, but most of it is stereotypical...
There's one line where the father asks the son, what he was doing there and the son says, "Dad, I've falling in love with Mrs. Harris" and the dad says, "How can anyone take you seriously when you still call her Mrs. Harris".
The mother then tells the son, and this is vague..."How can you move in the woman you called, the spooky old lady from next door."
They make it look like the only thing an younger guy could want in a older woman is to have sex all the time with no commitment, because the son is basically always answering the door in his underwear...Its going to be interesting to watch this show...I guess whatever "fad" is happening in real life is up for a laugh or two.
