Exposed Panties: Sexy or Tacky?

I'm sure the guys and gals will have all sorts of different opinions on this.

When I was a kid, it seemed like only boys/guys had the rear hem of their boxers/briefs showing from time to time. ;)

But, nowadays the younger ladies are getting into the act too! I think it's mostly when they sit down and the pants get pulled down a tad. It's 'cause of all the low-cut slacks and jeans that are in fashion today, along with the high-riding 'belly shirts.'

So, whaddya think?

Personally, I think a hint of ladies' undies is kinda cute :)....And if she happens to be 38 or 43 instead of 19, that's even cuter, although I almost never see that since most older ladies dress more modestly....

But what's gross is when a girl's wearing a thong, and the waist part and the upper-rear part is resting above the jeans for all the world to see. I think that is raunchy as all hell. :( Yuck!!

i do wear them too, and i also have trouble when i sit down or bend to pick up something from the floor. i love wearing jeans but if you go shopping for them the low cuts are all you can get, i am used to them now, but like you said i do have trouble keeping my under wear hiding from other eyes, my partner gets mad at me everytime i bend to check something at the supermarket for example, he quickly runs behind me and tries to cover my back:p

Sing... did you know that those skirts are an illusion to the eye?
i read in a newspaper a few months ago, about an email that was going around about some japanese skirts that gives the illusion of being transparante but the article said that is just the material like that.

Where I live alot of young women wear the low cut jeans with their panties sticking out the top, but I don't recall ever seeing an OW wearing the same style, which is a shame, cause it looks DAMN SEXY! :cool:
I would personally like to see OW follow this trend, as you can never have too much exposed underwear in public. :p

Well, I wear low cut jeans, combats an skirts all the time, as I love showing off my waist, I wear low cut (hipster) thongs or lace shorts under them, this minimalizes the chance that they r gonna show no matter what one does................. With my very lowest cut combats or jeans I always ensure I am wearing a thong with a motif on the back, eg a butterfly or sparkly bits, so that should anyone catch a glimpse they will see something pretty/cute as opposed to something plain..............Personally, I love the contrast of wearing really feminine, lacy, cutesy lingerie with combats an string vests etc .............

If one is really worried about flashing one's undies one can always not wear any, just be sure an use a panty liner over the seams in the jeans/pants to prevent chaffing LOL

SHEWOLF....I KNOW, BUT those pantiliners always seem to get crinkled up and then falls somewhere like down my leg and out=) LOL.....maybe we could all use duct tape to keep those lil things in PLACE=)

Nothing like tight, low rise, as$ hugging jeans that are wayyy below the belly button. The midriff = thumbs up.

Just one negative aspect to this. Young girls ( i mean below 18) are wearing sexier and sexier things and I almost feel guilty for looking:eek: I would like to talk to their fathers regarding this. It's just not right. No decency in this world anymore.

I guess this is tacky to admit, but I go without panties most of the time. I can't stand my panties to show. If they ever do show, my daughter gives me hell about it. :rolleyes: I do think it looks raunchy for a thong to ride up above the top of pants. Very sleazy. To be honest... I've never really given it much thought. I don't think that it moves me one way or the other. Exposed panties certainly don't bother me. But I must say... NO panties seems a hell of a lot sexier.

They are sexy and fun to look at....Not everyone can pull off this look but I enjoy the show anyways....:D

I also wear hipsters a lot so I try to wear decent looking undies if I know they are going to stick out. But I don't try to let them stick out... just in case they do, you know.

However, as for the thong thing riding way up past the jeans, I agree that it looks tacky and raunchy. Totally raunchy and sleazy. It looks to me like someone trying too hard to be overtly sexy... and I HATE it when young girls (under 18) dress like that... it makes me uncomfortable.

But just regular undies sticking out a little doesn't bother me. As long as they don't look shabby.

Also, I am uncomfortable with the word panties. I don't know why, but it bugs me...

Haha! This guy i know once got into a huge car wreck once looking at a girl in a bikini at the beach. I did not know the crash happened until the car stopped. I was sitting in the front seat.:D ;) That's what women will do to you....gotta keep away from them...;)

Too Libral for the USA. allthough it's not a bad idea.. If i was a pretty female I would wear that for one day, to see what type of reactions i would get.
