If you've been here long enough you know me, and know I can't spell.

Well, a great friend of mine clued me into eSpell (http://download.com.com/3000-2378-10220980.html?tag=lst-0-18) and I've fallen in love with it!

It's truly awesome!

I right click when done writing and it checks the spelling for me before I hit the submit button. NO MORE CUT AND PASTE!

I hope you enjoy it.

Well, spelling is the ONLY thing I can do lol. Is there one of these for mathematically challenged people (like me) and one for those who can only cut and paste with scissors and glue (me again)???
I JUST CANT DO IT

Hey, Swan, that's chat "shorthand" you're talkin' about!!

Actually, I was always a great speller, but many years of shorthand almost ruined my spelling. However, I think I will check out the new software anyway. Thanks, Polite. :)

Hey Gal, love the new hair cut~!

Cutting and pasteing on the comp is easy.

1. Hightlight the stuff you want.

2. Push the control and C buttons at the same time (if you want to copy the stuff) or control and X buttons at the same time (if you want to remove the stuff from that spot to another.

3. Move the cursor to where you want the stuff to be pasted. Hit control and V buttons at the same time.

Ta Da!

My ex was an IT manager, fairly important job eh? well when ever he had to send out an important email he would send it to me at work first so I could correct it. Wonder what he's going to do now? LOL

Love you too Trish, ok are you all sick yet? And I know what you mean by geniuses with learning diabilities. Sometimes I think they HAVE THE ADVANTAGE because they think outside the box. I mean if you have to make up for the fact that you can't read or hear or whatever..... Gads they do great stuff. My guy. I truly mean it when he types .... well I don't want to be unkind. But he is a genius in so many ways. And my ex. I mentioned that is is IT Manager but sends me his email to correct. I could not TOUCH his knowledge about computers. I am getting my masters degree and he is a high school graduate. The brain is a mighty strange thing.

Bad Results From eSpell !!

Hi folks,

Was just surfing your side of the boards a few days ago and saw the post.
Thought.....Great Idea! this will be pirfect/ perfict/ perfect for ME!!

Well I went to the site, downloaded the eSpell tool, And went back to posting away on the boards.
Did my usual norton scan before shutdown that evening, Warning.....You have 1 Virus!........Hacktool! .....This virus can not be repaired.....would you like to quarantine this file?

I quarantined the file then went on my way to learn about it.
Hacktool is a keystroke logger.....it logs everything I typed then sends it to an undisclosed email addy (if they'd just come to ageless they could read it themselves!)

Well EVEN with hacktool in quarantine, when I would type a sentence I had a major lag. It would take up to 20 seconds or so until my words hit the screen (they were going through a log program first) I went to the trouble of downloading a new browser and POOF.....No More Lag!!

I had no lag on my messenger or my new browser, Only on my 'Internet Explorer' which got me to thinking the only thing I had changed.....was adding eSpell. So I un-installed the eSpell, PROBLEM SOLVED. Back to full speed ahead:)

Now I may have been a rare case getting the hackers tool from eSpell. But to be on the safe side I thought I should warn you people to at least do a scan for it. It was logging and sending all my e-mails as well.

Have a Great Day Folks!

Don

Thank you for telling us, tho I've sent this along to several other people who are programmers who checked it throughly before and after they downloaded it with no problems found.

I'll run a scan on it.

Thanks again.

I studied a lot of this kind of thing for my Psychology course, however:

<B> RED </B> <BR>
<B>BLUE </B><BR>
<B>BLACK </B> <BR>
<B>YELLOW </B> <BR>
<B>WHITE </B><BR>
slows down recognition time :)

Maybe because I have a learning disablity (dyslexia) I read the words at normal speed and then wondered what you were talking about. Then I looked again and then realized the actual colors didn't match the written words.

Or, maybe I've been on the internet too long with people who chat in colors too much.
