How is your vaccination card?
I got scared the other day working in the garden, when I cut myself with a broken piece of a vase. You know tetanus can be caught like this and like many doctors, I have not paid attention to my own health in a while and completely forgotten my vaccines (diphtheria, tetanus and Polio).

Because I had not respected the renewal time (every 10 years) I had to take them twice in the period of one month and then again next year and then I'll be able to enter the 10 periods again.

I went to my doctor and had everything actualised. How about you all, have you been paying attention to it?

10 years ago I stood on a piece of wood with a nail sticking out that went into my foot, and I went straight to my Doctor to get a tetanus jab as I was overdue for it; however thanks for your post, as it reminds me I am overdue again :D

I might be thinking of all the times you teased me, that you showed me how strong you were, wow, what a revenge.
Yeah, I definitely want to give you that injection...;)

If you like gardening, this is one of the main dangers in relation to tetanus. You really should be careful. In Brazil we used to give that vaccine during pregnancy because some women still give birth in difficult conditions, but I am not sure they do this anymore.

And yes, I know what you mean, when I was going often to the doctor because of a treatment, I forgot to take care of other areas of my life, like dentist, ophtalmologist, it was just when I had time for myself that I took care of those.

But the smear, this I respect really, because I've seen my aunt's gynecologist die of a cervical cancer. Imagine. Doctors are not good to themselves.
