They finally saw that I was coming to this web site at work and they blocked it from me. No one said anything. I don't know if it was just the Network administrator or my boss. But I am BUSTED.

Yes slow withdrawal. BOO HOO. The network admin who sits two feet from me asked me this after noon if I could still access the web. I checked and yes I could. He said good. But next time I tried I couldn't access this site. It really is a good thing. I mean I shouldn't do that at work even though I usually did it while on hold or something. I just hope he did it himself and didn't do it because my boss told him too.

BEWARE you people who log on at work. They KNOW EVERYTHING YOU DO. I knew this, and knew I would get busted eventually.

Actually, SQ...they may not of intentionally blocked the site...

It may be a problem with the network/firewall...

It's like, earlier this week for me. At work, we were having network issues. For a good 12 work hours, whenever I tried to access the ageless site....it came up with a shopping site.

So, they might of very well blocked it, but, it could also be network/firewall issues as well.

no it came up with our blocking software, sorry having a brain fart here or I could tell you the name.

At Lady's work they use a program called Websense which searches meta tags for certain keywords. Sports, romance, dating etc. There is a huge list. Anyway, when I am over there farting around on those computers there isn't very much you can do as far as internet browsing is concerned. Most of the things are blocked.

Ironically enough though. . .you can still check the stock market.

What she does to access during the day is just use a dialup account. Assuming you have both a modem on that computer and a working dialup service, you can just disable the modem sounds and it'll work just perfectly. Of course, you will have to deal with a dialup.

We don't even go online at work, unless we need the computer wizard's help or something. I would never have the time, we don't stop moving at work for a second.

Ours is Surf Control. BOO HOO. I knew it would happen eventually, I really abused it at work. But so often I am on hold or waiting for something to run or print. I mean it beats staring off into space. I just hope I'm not in trouble.

Considering that people do for far worse things then romance...e.g. porn, lying to little girls on the internet so they can meet, swindling others out of their life savings...you would think companies would chill out on this stupid thing of monitoring people.

fine it is on your work time, but you're also being productive. I can understand if this is all your doing is logging onto ageless or any other website while your work suffers. We have a general computer in our quiet room to be use during lunch time for the employees because upper management realize that not everyone has a computer at home.

As long as porn is not viewed, we can surf anywhere we want.

Paris I'm sure if I'd been a little more.... conservative, they would have let it slide. But when you keep hitting refresh about every 10 minutes it logs a lot of hits. I deserve it.

SQ..I tried to get on ageless from work as well. Our security system also has it blocked. It uses the same tactics as the one Steve mentioned..key words. And ya know what the keyword is that keeps me out of here??? Pornography!! ~lmao~ Where?? I've looked everywhere!! What lil nook and cranny and dark lil corner of this place am I missing!! ~rushing to put on her leathers and high heeled boots..grabbing a riding crop as she rushes back~...Okay! Give me directions! I'm ready to go!! ~lol~

I work for the federal government and they have it blocked too. I think it might be because of the sexuality forum, but who knows for sure.

You might actually get access back as they work out the new surf patrol. We were blocked from Yahoo and MSNBC for a while at first. Sometimes people are too eager to block and some of them are just stoopid. Keep checking though it might come back up.

You know, maybe it wasn't intentionally directed at me. Hmmm. Because I was real embarrassed if it was. You guys may be right.

I hope this doesn't happen at my school, I only access the site when people don't need to do their work at that time, but we can appeal against the blocking of sites if they are of some benefit to educational purposes; I could say it was essential for my psychological thesis on Age gap relationships :D

Kyrianne, They told you that the keyword was...pornography..not X-rated, a related term to porn? Cause I could understand where the word X- rated comes in to block a site.....

On sexually speaking in the description it says "Not X-rated" but I wonder if just having X-rated in the description could be preventing some people from access...cause I don't see the word pornography anywhere on this site accept when people post about it ......

SQ... I know how you feel. While I did not exactly get busted the way you did. I found out that MY network admin. let my boss know (the President of co.) that I was on the Internet a lot. This was before I retired. The problem was I was BORED!!!

I had a great title but it was a company that was ran by "over 50-white males". Other than secretary's and clericals, I was the only woman executive.

So what did the guy that I fought hard for an increase do... betray ME. I was mad and embarrassed. The boss never said anything to me. Another person told me about the tattletale ... :rolleyes:

I am probably differant here, but as I see it companies pay for Internet service and have their right to run it the way they deem fit.
There is alot of trouble companies can get into if their employees do something "wrong" on a site.......
I guess I really don't blame them for blocking sites when they pay for it......
But cheer up SwanQueen, there are so many things you can do now in your down time... like something I always want to do, buy a bunch of differant cards and send them to loved ones and friends snail mail..... I think snail mail needs to come back more, I miss it :)

And I totally agree. It is not only their internet but I am on their time. I am COMPLETELY wrong to go online while at work. But truly I do have things to do that take a long time to run and I am on hold a lot. Sometimes I kinda sneak my homework in to work. See that's wrong too.

A few years ago I worked as a secretary for a company, my job was taking appointments, sitting at the reception desk and signing in customers, selling products, and cleaning out tanning beds........But you know what? The Biiiiiiiitch that ran the place wouldn't even let us have a book to read during downtime, she made us scrub walls, vacuum, do laundry, water plants, wash windows and do her lazy *** jobs!!! (while she paid us 3 dollars an hour plus 1 tanning session a day)!!!!
She was the laziest manager in the world cuz she was screwing the boss, literally, she got canned when he broke up with her!!
Well I quit working for the company, and the boss man got wise and ditched her, now he is the owner of UB Tan in Minnesota!!
And to the semi boss wanna be BECKY (loser 4 ever) hahahaha you reap what you sow!!!!!

I don't know where you people work, but I don't have time at work to access anything! We are blocked from checking email on any ISP other than our own intranet, and they monitor the whole place and 3000 people work at the institution where I'm employed. But the truth is, most of the clinical people are running their asses off and don't have time to pee, let alone access the internet. I really think spending time on the internet while at work is akin to stealing, sorry, but it sounds like you already knew that...
