Today is our first warm day in a while(75ish) and I went out and got the mail in, I swear to god there were HUNDREDS of ladybugs flying around. There were at least 10-15 on my door alone, holy jeeze. I mean they don't bite and just help us out, but jesus christ why are there so many? I looked out the backdoor and there was even more flying around in our neighbors yard than ours that I can tell. You can see so freaking many of them flying under the sunlight.
*prepares to go out and get the mail*
Anyone else in the Chicago area seeing all these ladybugs? Or anywhere else in the country?

Yes Ladybugs do bite babes. I know here in Wisconsin we have bugs that look exactly like lady bugs except they are more orangish in color...they are called Asian beetles. I was told they were brought here to kill off other bugs that hurt crops and had a population explosion. I know in some areas that have many crops that they have coated the whole sides of houses...then they get in the house and are everywhere....eek..lol im not a bug fan ;)
anyway there has been quite a few of those bugs around here lately not sure if its due to the warm weather or not but I'll put up with the bugs to keep the warm weather...:D

Well I got attacked by asian bettles. They are crowding the side of my house.

What new name shall we give the Asian bettles. How about
Margibugs. Named after the wife of my favorite DJ. Ian Punnet.

Yuppers..have them here in PA too. Ladybugs..asian beetles.. whatever. When spring rolls around they are everywhere! I am constantly shooshing them from the windows, porch, siding and chasing those that get in the house..which is usually quite a few..around with my vaccuum cleaner! ~laughing~ Now I've heard that ladybugs in your house mean good luck..hmmm...I've also heard that a fly in your house at Christmas time means good fortune for the new year. So I'm supposed to let that one dang fly bug me..no pun intended..for months on end?? I think I'll take my chances! ~swaaAAAAAAAAAAAaaaat~

THEY are in my SHOES...on the wall....crawling in the bathroom....just OPEN the door and tons FLY IN....if u swack em they stink too....have to sweep em up and change the sweeper bag so im told....grrrrrrrrr BUGS....feel like they crawling on ME in bed....MIND GAMES=)

Here at college, you'll be walking to your class, and you'll be swarmed by a wall of 2000 lady bugs, it is absolutely out of control.

HEY GUY'S GEUSS WHAT? i SAW SOMETHING ABOUT THE INVASION OF THE LADY BUGS ON THE EVENING NEWS A FEW YEARS BACK, AND THE NEWS LADY SAID THEY ARE GETTING INTO OUR HOME THIS TIME OF YEAR BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR A WARM PLACE TO SLEEP FOR THE WINTER............OK YEAH SO THATS NOT GOING TO WORK,...DAM THINGS DONT PAY THE RENT , RITE? SO HERE IS A SIMPLE SALUTION, AND IT WORKS. TO HELP THE LADY BUGS, AS THEY ARE A BENIFIT TO US, AND FUN FOR KIDS TOO.....JUST GRAB A ZIP LOCK BAGGY, AND FILL IT UP WITH THE BUGS THAT ARE INVADING YOUR SPACE, THEN CARFULLY PLACE THE BAG INTO YOUR DEEP FREZZER OR FREEZER, AND FREEZ THEM UP FOR THE WINTER, AND AROUND SPRING TIME, TAKE THEM OUT LET THEM THAW, THEY WILL COME BACK TO LIFE AND FLY AWAY.....IT WORKS AND ITS KINDA COOL TO WATCH, JUST DONT THROW YOU MEAT ON TOP OF THEM AND CRUSH THE POOR THANGS...:rolleyes: LOL HAVE FUN WITH IT.
