I discovered this website from a sociology class. I am currently in marriage and intimacy in college and i found the website in the back of the chapter of mate selection in the textbook Choices In Relationships. I haven't posted much but really like the posts from the people of ageless

So all my "pouring from the heart" posts, silly little comments, and ramblings in regard to this YM I adore, (not to mention my picture), is passed around at a college sociology class?

Oh my, that is very interesting.
How fast can I turn tail here and head for the hills?!

Well, if anyone recognizes me, I guess that's ok.
*waving to all that know me from "somewhere"*

I have nothing to hide, (excpet maybe my red face).
;)

That should help people understand why we should keep a high level around Ageless...;)

I secretly hope they'll close an eye to my gifs.

Actually Maria, from what I’ve heard your “dead Maria” Halloween .gif and Dan’s “zombie”.gif were featured prominently in the latest editions. They are said to be quite popular! ;)

Exactly, Maria, we have a good reputation to maintain. We are known as a safe, clean website. People can feel comfortable and safe on Ageless thanks to the largely respectful membership and the skillful and much-appreciated moderation practiced by you, Jody and Em.

I'll have to move, then...I destroyed the site's image....:(

Just remember, Zombie Clause is watching you!! Ho!Ho!Ho!

Come sit on his lap...not all things have to be dead! Ho!Ho!Ho!

If it's a sociology class, and they see me? Oh god, they'll have a field day with me on this one! *LOL*

Good ol’ Zombi Clause....Shouts “Ho-Ho-Ho” more often than Jessie Jackson on a tour of 13th Street. :)

Isn't it hard to find articles and forums in the subject? I have been trying for some time now, to bring some new discussions to Ageless, after all it's the main objective of the site, but it's difficult.

I have asked Joe to help me with finding something because he's into psychology and might find something in that area; it seems to me we find a bit more about this in terms of sociological aspects.

I found this site by just browsing on the net for people with the same intersets or goals as myself, and I'm glad to say this site was just what I was looking for. You guys are friendly, funny and sincere and I really enjoy reading the posts and checking out the profiles.

Actually the name of the chapter where the website was is called
dating and cohabitating. There's a lot of information that i've learned from this chapter. The median age at first marriage is higher than it has ever been 26.7 for men and 24.5 for women I've learned that there are seven types of cohabitation relationships 1)Here and now 2)Testers 3)Engaged 4)Money savers 5)Separated 6)Pension partners 7)Cohabitants forever. We went over the overall experience of cohabitation which include deciding to move in together, sexual values and behaviors, division of labor, and money and property.
Communication and jealousy rank first and third among the top three problems reported by both individuals who date different people (casual daters) and those who are involved in a reciprocal
love relationship (involved daters). However, commitment was mentioned as the second most frequent problem for casual daters
but was not even mentioned among the top ten dating problems
reported by the involved. This is just a portion that was a part of my research.

I found this site by doing a search on a search engine for age-gap relationships. I just wanted to know that I was not the ONLY one...and found out I wasn't.

I was soooo thankful for this site, and to meet other people that did not think I was a freak or a crazy women, but people who actually encouraged me and said, "Hey, it's okay to feel like this."

There is an awesome group of people here, and I was warmly received from the moment I first posted....and I am thankful for that.

I was reading that book mentioned in Oprah when she interviewed Peachy and Joe, Older Women, Younger Men: New Options for Love and Romance, by Felicia Brings, Susan Winter.

I bought it because I was having problems with my ex-bf's mother and the chapter on the pittbul mother was so explanatory. :D

They mention AgelessLove and give our link in the book.
