Okay...so my friend up in San Jose calls me to tell me how excited she is because she has the perfect guy for me. She's known him for about a year now...and she said not to worry...."I never dated him or anything...he's too old."

You're gonna laugh...he's 31...that's so not old! But I guess to this 21 year old....he's too old for her. At any rate, I told her that I don't think it's a good idea because we have TOTALLY different taste in men...but she asked me to check out his Yahoo! profile anyway.

I hate blind dates...but this sexy Italian with BLUE EYES...yes ladies...BLUE EYES...seems to be worth it to me. She told me all about him and he seems like he would be my type. I'm excited and sooo nervous at the same time!

It's not always the heat, EMCAD, it's the cost of living. If Texas is anything like Louisiana, the cost of living is 50% cheaper. I'm paying $650/month for an apartment that's the same size as an apartment that I lived in when I was living in New Orleans and I only paid $275/month there. What's worst, air conditioning is a luxury in California whereas it's standard in Louisiana.
