First new thread...I know what i see in O/W what do you see in Y/M??

Speaking as a Y/M interested in O/W I know that I am attracted to the sexy maturity of older women that comes with life's experiences. I find that older women have a certain confidence that younger women lack. Older women do not play games, are very direct and to the point and pull no punches. Women my age (26) are too worried about conforming to the preconcieved notions of what constitutes a "normal relationship" whereas older women aren't so concerned about conforming to society's norms. These are the things I find attractive about older women....so I will ask the women on this board...what is it that you find attractive about younger men???

I don't find that I am attracted only to younger men. It's men in general!

The younger man that I am involved with is attractive to me because he is a kind, patient, generous soul. He makes me laugh. And, he is also very handsome.:p

But, again, it's not that I am only attracted to younger men. It is the individual guy and his characteristics that I am attracted to.

I've been avoiding questions like this up until now, because I really didn't think there were any particular characteristics of younger men that I preferred.

These aren't qualities that men my age or older have appreciated in me. They have found confidence threatening somehow, and seemed uncomfortable with the direct approach -- possibly preferring women who are more submissive and emotionally reactive? (Sorry if I'm generalizing too much here)

Ok I will bite, even though it is a tired idea. I don't think I have actually put in words what I have in the past liked about younger men. But now that I am dating men my own age and feeling a little tug of nostalgia towards my younger men of yore.

Body... FINE
Stamina... YUM
Interests... same as mine
Baggage ie exes.... few
See me as a prize.... priceless

I agree completely with her, and like her, I like the word some. Because generalizations are always unfair. I've seen women my age act like fool crazy teenagers, with total lack of respect for their partners. Some young men are just seeds of the macho older men they'll still be.

But there are for sure some things that change from generation to generation until they get settled and they are not just an impression of a good change anymore, they are a reality. And I think many of these changes are becoming clearer now in these men born after the 70s.

Many of them don't expect you to do all the housework and don't consider sharing it as "help", but as just sharing. They are less inclined to judge as vulgar behaviours that some of us, depending on our cultural background, would have hesitated to show. Like taking the initiative of inviting a guy out or flirting. I really appreciate these changes.
