Thank you everyone, for thinking of me. I needed a bit of cheer today, and this was a nice surprise.

There are so many new people I'd love to get to know better, and so many of my good friends here that I haven't had time to write to lately. Hopefully in the coming year I'll have more time to enjoy the great people here.

Maria...you asked what my fav cake is. I guess that would be cheesecake. ANY kind of cheesecake, and no, I did NOT resist! I had a big ol peice!!!

You know what would be cool? If we had a sticky thread up at the top, with the Top Ageless Stories (posts) of the day, or something. Some kind of little Cliff's Notes thingy. Lol....I know we can't really do that, but it would be so great for people like me who only pop on and have like two seconds to read something fast. And, I always forget to come back to reply, or loose the thread and can't find it again. Anyway....I am always appalled when I realize I've missed something really important, and I don't want anyone to think I didn't care. Sometimes I come in on a thread really late, and I feel like a thoughtless goon. There are so many people now, and so many posts, and they move off the board so fast! I can't keep up!

Anyway....I think you're all great, and even if I'm not posting much these days, I am always thinking about you all, and worrying about your problems, and hoping everyone is ok.

Perthguy - Kye and I are as straight as they come. We just like guys;) So I guess we wont be doing any performing for anyone - well, unless she wants to lol!!!!

And besides, Julie told Kye she loved her too. In fact, we all love Kye - she's a sweetheart:)

So, this is what I did. My daughters all picked me up, and we went to my middle daughter's college town, and we had fun all day. Had a nice dinner, and we all went to see Elf. I love seeing silly Christmas themed movies. It was cute. It was a really nice day. I was so tired when I got home, but had a great time. And ya know what? It was snowing all day! How cool is that? I like snow until the end of December, then I start wishing it would go away!!!

Hey, you go to Ren Faires, have you ever heard Owain Phyfe? He travels around to a lot of the ren faires....he's a modern day bard, and has the lovliest voice I've ever heard. I love listening to him, and have bought 2 of his CD's. Just wondered if you've ever heard him at any of the ones you've gone to.

I haven't, I'll look him up though. Have you read the Mercedes Lackey Bedlam's Bard series? Its about a Ren Faire performer, who finds out he's a real magical bard and has to save the world.
