I just got back from lunch with PinkPanther.

I discovered I was the only one on the board that knows what she looks like.

We were curious - what does everyone think Pink looks like?

Totally and completely beautiful would be my guess.

How did you draw that conclusion?

I'm curious becasue I had no idea what she would look like before I met her.

And no my hair is not pink, though it has been. (as well as several other interesting colors) But that was quite a while ago.

Alright, I probably shouldn't even be posting on this thread, so I'm leaving now. And I'm totally not fishing for compliments, so feel free to be as honest as you want to be. I just think that people who judge me mostly on my appearance get my personality wrong almost every time, so I was curious what people's impressions would be if they tried to fill in the physical picture just from seeing my thoughts.

I have always pictured Pink as a dirty blonde, around 5'6" to 5'8" with a big bright smile and enchanting eyes...maybe it was the lion avatar that made me think that...but I think I would have to go with Swan's answer...dammit...I was gonna say that! LOL :D

Pink and I have PM'd back and forth a few times.

She was going to be in town for the weekend for her brothers wedding so I suggested we grab a bite to eat.

We agreed on Sunday at Romano's Macaroni Grill.

Saturday I realized I had no idea what pink looked like. That was kinda strange for me because I usually end up with the barbies with no substance. Well, it's only kinda strange because recently I've been really rethinking that whole barbie vs substance thingy. Somebody said the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over expecting different results...

I digress, the point being I was intrigued by what Pink wrote so I wanted to meet her.

(Often times when I read her posts I went "Damn" but there's no catchy internet phrase like ROFLMAO to convey that)

So, I get there 10 minutes early and tie my horse up (he's been very busy lately :) )

Sunday morning she pm'd me the she was 5' 4" and had blond hair. So I parked myself at the bar hoping to check out every 5'4" girl in the place. I looked the only 5'4" blond in the place over and decided it wasn't pink.

So, I head out to the lobby at 12:05 to watch the parking lot for a few minutes before I saddle up.

Then I saw her heading for the door. At least I though it was her. I looked to my left and there was some guy looking at me with this **** eating grin... Turned out that was the mirror...

Gotta go to class...

Since SomeNight first started posting I thought he was pretty interesting and seemed to have his head on straight (unfortunately not a trait I'm used to in the men I usually go for) I noticed that he lived in Texas as well, (although that doesn't really mean much since it's a big ol' state) but I really thought that it was an odd coincidence when he said that he's in Dallas. Alright, so most of the women were in agreement that he looked damned good in the avatar pic he had up. (oh look, it's back! ;) ) We talked back and forth a little in PM's and I slyly mentioned I'd be in town for my brother's wedding, hoping he'd take the bait. :D

Alright, so we agreed to get together on Sunday since I was going to be seriously busy the rest of the weekend. Sunday morning I was on here a little bit while trying to get some other things done, and SomeNight PMed me and asked what I looked like because he realized he didn't know. I was trying to figure out what I was going to wear so I'd be able to at least tell him that (just for recognition purposes), and then he PMed me again and said he was about to leave. So, I hurried and wrote him back and couldn't think of much to say in the way of describing myself, but I gave him enough to where he'd know it was me.

I had to stop for gas on the way there, but the pump wasn't working right and I got in a little argument with the girl at the gas station about it, which is why I was late.

So anyways, I got to the restaurant and happened to notice a Corvette parked up front. (yeah, it's really a hard detail to remember when someone mentions they drive a Corvette, right? :p They're just terribly sexy vehicles is all) So I knew he was already there adn felt like a jerk for being late. So, I went inside and -

Hold on, I have to go check on my lasagna...
























...okay, I'm back.

Where was I? Oh yeah. So I went inside and there he was standing off to the side of the foyer with a **** eating grin on his face. :D And I thought DAMN! You guys don't even know. He's got the most gorgeous smile. Wow.

So we went and sat down and started talking about...well let's just say we weren't talking about anyone on the boards. We wouldn't do that, right? Of course not. (nothing bad at least, I assure you) I didn't really know what to expect, and figured he'd be kind of conservative because of his military background, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong (for once, huh?)

Anyways, I was a little nervous but managed to not make too much of an *** of myself. :rolleyes: :p But seriously, he's really fun to talk to and we got along really well, so we decided to go out again the next time I'm in town (which unfortunately isn't until Thanksgiving weekend)

Ooh, and when we left he walked me back to my car and we hugged goodbye (okay, so I wanted to kiss him but thought it wasn't such a good idea since we'd only met an hour before.) And I got two hugs for the price of one. :D He's really huggy. I love that. ;)


Okay, it took me about ten years to write all that. Did I forget anything?

Back to the story...

She walked in the door and we gave each other that sideways glance to make sure we were who we were supposed to be. I said PinkPanther and she said SomeNightSW.

And that my friends is how it happened, how I came to see what PinkPanther looks like.
