Commitment

How long into the relationship did you discuss making your relationship an exclusive, commited situation?

With D it was never really discussed...it was just something that happened. It was almost like over night...we saw each ohter every once in a while then BOOM we saw each other every day.

With my ex though, it got serious when he asked me to live with him.

with my current boyfriend, it was kind of within the first week or two, in the past, maybe like a month or so. but sometimes it is unspoken, you know?

Well we just happened..... We were both with others when we me but My heart belonged to him the first moment I laid eyes on hiim and his heart belonged to me...... When we finally cut ties from the ones holding us down we were together ever since......

it is beautiful Em.. None ofyou realize how much I love him.... He totally captured my heart and soul and I am totally his forever... I think that's why I take all these recent posts about cheating on your hubby so seriously because It would so crush me no matter what the circumstance... but anyway....Love is a beautiful thing!!!!!

My husband and I were exclusive with each other from the beginning. There really was no discussion about it, we were both so filled up with each other that there just wasn't any room for anyone else. We didn't discuss marriage until almost 4 years into our relationship, then we were married within the year.

I think 'C' was very eager to be exclusive with me. After the first kiss he was already treating me like a queen...ahhhhh....
Mera: I think I can completely relate to your feelings for your man. Its just the most complete, most satisfying feeling ever!! I can not wait until 'C' asks me to marry him....its been 2 years now...he better jump on it ! LOL

With T, it was kind of in un-spoken thing. My mom kicked me out once she found out I was dating T, so T and I had been living together a month after we started dating.....

I think the major *commitment* happened a few months ago, we were going through a real difficult time, and decisions had to be made.... He had to make personal desicions when it came to *us*. All I can say is thank god he chose right!!! :}

The pregnancy has also brought us MUCH closer, I can't explain it, but he completes me, he is such a big part of my life, and myself... The closeness I feel with him, the conection... Its scary sometimes to love someone so much...

Okay im rambling now :} heheh

softie- rambling is sometimes a good thing, maybe I only think that cuz I do it too.. haha

exclusive? I wish I had that. It's an on again off again bumpy road.. But we are surviving together. My OM, M, is going through a very hard time with his life concerning family. So as of right now we are on hold. I hate being without him and its hard for him too. We talk as much as we can and see eachother whenever possible. But with me now away at school 3 hrs away it gets kinda hard.
Ok now Im rambling because I haven't talked much about M in a while.

Well we didn't have to talk about it. From the very first day we got together, I think we both knew that we didn't want to be with anyone else. (sort of sounds like a fairytale huh?)

Er, depending on how you look at it, it either took us 2 years or about a month, or right from the beginning. See, we were really good friends for about 2 years before we started dating at all, and that month really wasn't us dating, either, it was us trying to figure out what the heck we should do about it once we both acknowledged how we felt about each other. The dating, once it started, was exclusive from the get go, because that's exactly what we both wanted. It just took us two years to get started.

We were exclusive right from the beginning. Even before the beginning actually.

We both knew each other before we got together and for about 5 months before i wouldn't have got with anyone else!I was waiting for him :)
