Hi to everyone out there. This is a great site :). I have been reading the boards for a little over a year now. This site has helped me to realize that I am normal and that i can pursue a relationship with an older woman. Well here is my story..
I have met a wonderful lady online (yeah lol online) I am shy and intraverted to a certain degree so it was easier for me to meet people online. HOwever I was not excpecting to meet anyone like that for a relationship I was ina chat room when this woman invited me to play with her so i did. We started talking and that was it. We got to know each other and have been talking every day for almost 2 weeks now. We text each other during work all day :) she is intellegent sweet down to earth attractive and successful in what she does. Our ages are 30 her and i will be 20 next month. I have no problem with the age gap at all but sometimes she had her "serious" moments where she doubts our relationship. They dont last long she says they come and go. That confuses me sometimes, I really care for this woman and want to be with her she is only 2 1/2 hours drive from me so distance isnt a problem. She todl me she has met any men but no one like me that she loves me and i make her happy and things like that but then she will say she is afraid to meet me because she doesnt think i will like her in person :( ?? so i am confused i just wish she could see past the age thing well thanks for reading.... we are getting closer and closer but i just dont want her to think ill loose interest in her because of her age

Have you two met in real life?

she said depending on how things go (which they are going good i guess) we should meet by x mas but i feel as though we have been together for a while

Get her to come here and read! So many of us OW had these worries in the beginning! It is normal for her! Stay patient and strong for her. :)

Yes we talk every day on the phone and online
i talked to her for 2 1/2 hours last saturday i think meeting someone on th net is better than a bar or something but thats me it is after all a place where u can meet people just like a library church club or where ever. I am staying very patient she isnt brushing me off at all its just i want her to beconfident about how i feel about her

she has serious doubts about the relationship? dude, you've only known each other two weeks! ever heard of taking things slow and being friends first? and she says she loves you? after two weeks? sounds pretty damn needy to me. you sure she isn't married or playin' witcha?

but, yeah, i'd say go for it. even if it all blows up in your face, and we here are subject to the gory details, you need all the life experience you can get in your '20s. otherwise, there's nothing to look back on when you're in the grateful dead twilight home and can't remember where you put your bong for the 99th time.:D
